The views at Cerro Castillo were too massive for our little phone cameras to capture, so you're just going to have to trust us when we say it was friggin' incredible! 🗻🗻🗻 (at Cerro Castillo)

The hike up Tronador was amazing...except for the thousands of kamakazi horse flies slamming into your ears and face. I don't know and don't care if they're an important part of the ecosystem...they can all die. 😲😠😜 #jkbutnotreally (at Cerro Tronador)

Tons of memories made with this group. Hiking, camping, rain, shine, alfajores, yerba mate mishaps and all the fernet, wine and meat we could stand. So happy to have had the chance to share a portion of this trip with our amigos from back home. Hasta pronto chicos! (at Cerro Campanario Bariloche)

Snap a photo of any roadside in the Argentinian lakes region and you're bound to capture a bunch of lupin in the shot. #pinkandpurpleeverywhere (at La Ruta De Los Siete Lagos)

Climbing Volcán Villarica was serious fun. A few hours of hiking up through the snow brought us to the very active crater and some beautiful views. The best part?? To descend, you are given a mini "sled" to cruise down a series of bobsled-esque snow chutes. 3 hours up & 40 minutes down! 🌋❄⛷😆 (at Volcan Villarrica)

Volcán Villarica had been upgraded to code "orange" the day before our hike. We weren't able to see much lava but there was plenty of smoke. On the crater's edge the harsh fumes burned our eyes and throats. Not sure how often they change the filters in these gas masks 😞 (at Volcan Villarrica)

The volcano was code "orange" with strong clouds of smoke pouring from the top. Even with gas masks our eyes and throats burned from the fumes. Luckily, we had a quick way down. We were worried about the weather on the morning of our hike but ended up climbing above the blanket of clouds. Found some sweet views on our way to the top of Volcán Villarica! ☁🌞🗻🌋😆 (at Volcan Villarrica)
