If I see anyone calling Chappell Roan a diva for setting boundaries with fans it's an immediate block.

'Well that's the price that you pay for fame.' block. leave that woman alone

'She's acting entitled' block. The only entitlement is from people who think this woman owes them her time.

'She's so out of touch because this it what it's like to be famous' block. You're out of touch. Stop being weird.

The people who think like this need to have some self reflection because it is not bad for her to set a boundary with her fans. She has already been doxxed and stalked, it isn't shocking that she set this up for her own mental health. It's 'setting boundaries is a good thing' and 'know what to do to protect your own mental health' until it's suddenly being implemented in a way that effects you huh?

For a generation that is so focused on setting boundaries and the importance of consent y'all sure hate it when your favourite artist is setting completely reasonable boundaries. None of y'all are entitled to anybodys body, time, mind or whatever, just bc they're famous. it's truly incredible how the fandom mentality is turning this into some kind of terf conspiracy. like, come on. they're not trying to cancel every single man who supports trans rights. sometimes the awful, disgusting terfs can dig up dirt on your fave simply because he's equally awful. also, maybe it's time to learn that famous people may not necessarily practice what they preach. they may be supportive of feminism/gay/trans rights because it reels in a certain audience and because they see you as their market. it really is that simple.

all of the ugly homophobes like "why can't all eight siblings just be heterosexual 😭 why did they have to change michael to michaela" even though the literal only difference in their storyline will be michaela's gender. the book plot remains the same. like cry about it or die mad idgaf. i'm strapped in for a multiple season long slowburn between two women that includes raunchy drawn out sex scenes and culminates in a happy ending. like those are all wins for me!
