Sooo.. I made myself a ref for this velvetly child, and also wrote a bit of a bio for them.. its not complete but this character isn’t fully developed yet so it will get there in time.. you can find the somewhat written bio underneath.

Personality Towards Humans: Generally friendly and mostly quiet, they don’t want them to become mad towards them.

Personality Towards Strangers: Very quiet and mostly to themself, they tend to avoid strangers but if greeted by one they will give a response.

Personality Towards acquaintances: They aren’t as open as they are with friends, but they aren’t as afraid to strike up a bit of a conversation, but it's usually about something other than themself.

Personality Towards Friends: Usually quite playful and open, and they usually can become annoying but they tend not to notice unless they are told. They also tend to share really important belongings with them.

Clothes: A very light blue cloak, with a grey stripe. A dark sea green infinity scarf with an orange plastic gem and dark sea green rain boots.

Skin: A lightish orange, with darker orange patches on their legs and hands.

Weight: 63 lbs

Other: A skeletal tail that was fitted through what looks like a rip, they also have a mouth similar to the eye colour that they can make appear or disappear at will.

FABRICOR- A small guide to the species

Fabricor's are a monster species that mainly revolve around anything to do with fabrics and what you can do with them. Fabricor's are a genderless species and recreate there kind different than some monsters. The parents usually find a decent piece of clothing (Preferably a large hoodie/shirt) and very slowly unravel the material that holds it together, this process could take up to a year if not worked on frequently. The parents would then slowly begin to turn it into something, adding fabric from one of there robes into the mixture of the found string. Once the robe is finished the parent that has decided to add the fabric from their's would give up there entire being to form the child, in this process the parent would dust leaving only a gem of sorts that was once attached to them. The other parent would take the gem and attach to the child in some way. The parent left would only raise the child until they have a proper memory and then would leave them close to the area they were created and disappear. (There is no feeling between two Fabricor's when this happens, it only to keep their species alive)

Fabricor's robes are basically their body but an illusion can be made that there is something underneath. Their legs are pretty much attached to nothing, pretty much the same situation with there hands as they are created out of the Fabricor's magic in order to allow them to perform basic actions. The head of a Fabricor's is nonexistent, they basically just have two floaty eyes and whenever they please a floaty mouth. Most Fabricor's tends to have a tail of some sort, most of the time it does resemble a dinosaur skeleton structure but very rarely it can actually be a fully formed tail, it all depends on their magic capacity. These tails also do tend to grow with this Fabricor's and become quite long.

Most Fabricor's are not outgoing monsters, they tend to keep to themselves when they can but won't deny a conversation when one is being started with them since they do not want to be impolite. Due to this, they tend to make friends with objects in order to keep themselves from becoming lonely and on rare chances they will befriend something that can actually give a proper response. Fabricor's are very creative beings, for the most part, they like to create things out of anything they may find, but they mostly will stick to creating things out of different types of fabrics.

(Side note: Fabricors are always named after fabrics, they do not have to match the Fabricors clothing colour and or magic)

BACKSTORY-

(Side note: This backstory goes from the first day Velvet remembers to the present. Of course, due to resets, the ending of the backstory will never be truly stable but there will be a genocide ending and a pacifist continuation. The pacifist continuation will not be in this backstory and will be written in a future date)

Backstory: Velvet doesn't remember much of anything about there parents, where they lived or really who they are. They only remember waking up in the middle of waterfall with an umbrella protecting them from the "rain". Since this has happened Velvet has refused to leave waterfall, a part of his SOUL telling them that they belong here and that it is safe. So they listened to their soul and has remained there since they were left there. They trust in their SOUL to lead them the right way, and within patience, they will possibly be given answers. Velvet spends most of their days in water usually talking with the echo flowers or with moldsmals. The echo flowers seem to have a really good memory of what they say because they seem to repeat right away what they have said to them. The moldsmals on the other hand are very quiet, but that doesn’t prevent Velvet from attempting to start a conversation with them regardless if they respond or not. Besides conversing with their friends, Velvet has grown a love for sewing. They usually adventure around waterfall in hope of finding any sort of discarded fabric to turn into a pretty little piece of art or even a little plushie to keep them company. While on these little adventures they usually takes breaks and play with their reflection, laughing as it copies their every little move.

They usually avoid the signs that lead to the answer of the puzzles in waterfall, mostly because they can’t really read what they say and if they can’t read it, it can’t be that important right? Over time they have learned how to do the puzzles from watching others, and even though they aren’t the smartest monster in the underground, they do have somewhat of a memory. If velvet ever gets stuck on solving one of the puzzles they usually run off to find baize, who is also a fabricor, but is not related to velvet in a family way. Baize usually is the one who gets annoyed most by velvet, always having to help them solve things or stop them from falling into the river because they decided it was a good idea to chase a crystalfly near them. Even through all of this Baize does have a bit of a soft spot for velvet, it's almost like having a little brother around and even though they can be annoying, he does enjoy their company.

Velvet is not one for fighting, in any situation they would most definitely want to avoid it at all costs. This is mostly why they have a strong dislike for Moldbygg, velvet could be wandering about looking for some company and come upon a Moldsmal, but the second they approach the moldsmal they would transform and try to attack them. Normally monsters don’t attack each other, but this Moldbygg can’t seem to tell the difference between velvet and a human. It’s probably because they don’t really have eyes, but who actually knows. Lucky enough woshua tends to appear to help spare velvet from a slimey doom and if any slime does get on their robe woshua usually helps them clean up. There are a few other monsters in waterfall that velvet has grown either acquainted with or befriended. One of these monster is small bird, the bird that carries anyone over the disproportionately small gap. Velvet actually enjoys the small little ride the bird gives them across the gap, even if it may take quite a long time they have the patience to endure it. The other monster velvet is acquainted with are the temmies, it’s not very often that they go to temmie village but when they do they usually spend quite a bit of gold on temmie flakes. Velvet normally doesn’t eat the colourful piece of papers that are contained within temmie flakes, usually, he plays around with them to see if he can make a little picture out of them. Most monsters would think it would be a waste to buy temmie flake, but Velvet knows that it’s going to a good cause and they want to be able to know they helped someone with their goal. There is one person though that Velvet refuses to help though, and this tends to be quite rare that he doesn't, is Undyne. They have tried on multiple occasions to talk to Undyne about changing her ways and instead of using violence and hurting others she should use kindness and her words. This never ends up working though, she usually just ends up suplexing a boulder in which scares Velvet off, but this doesn't stop them from going back and trying to change her mind again.

Velvet was most confused when word of a human began to spread around waterfall. They have never seen a human before nor personally met one before. Velvet became very wary as the talk about the human continued, which in other words that there was definitely a human running about the underground. But even if this news they tried to go about their day as they normally did, but of course they were still wary. Funny enough when the human did make it to waterfall, Velvet didn't even notice them due to them thinking they were just a unique looking monster because you know he never saw a human before. While at this point Velvet has almost completely forgotten that a human was out and about due to him becoming too focused in his little arts and craft project.
