The Baby:
Ghoul hatchlings are very small, hence why, in Hilly’s case, an imp wound up raising it as if it were one of its young.
Hilly, despite still being quite small himself, is fairly large when compared to our new little friend here. vv
Hatchlings are fairly independent, in that they can walk and hunt from the moment they break out of egg jail, but most ghouls that make it to adulthood in the pit are kept close and raised communally so they develop social bonds/connections for protection.
Hatchlings eventually become more humanoid in shape, but they start very… awkward kitten-like.
