Downloaded Krita on my tablet after many years of attempting to use it on my computer that's ready to explode....

How would Julien and Erik react to meeting a time traveler that shows them

1) The modern takes on old operas and ballets

2) Mario Kart

3) Autotune

HFODKSHSOPAJSIWODJ OKAY THESE WERE SO FUN TO THINK ABOUT AND ANSWER.

1. I think Julien would be fascinated by all the modern technology. He would want to know EVERYTHING about the lightboards, soundboards, sets(especially if they had moving pieces). He would be AMAZED to find out we still perform the stuff they did hundreds of years ago. He would enjoy himself thoroughly.

Erik? I think he would probably be upset that there wasn't anything new. "Have the writers lost all wits about them? Are there no creatives in your time?". I think he'd still have appreciation for the artform(obviously), and would probably go about watching it like usual. :)

2. MARIO KART? This one really tripped me up. OKAY SO, I *WANTED* TO SAY THAT ERIK WOULD BE AN OLD MAN, AND NOT UNDERSTAND THE BUTTONS. BUT I THINK HE WOULD. AND WOULD HAVE LEVERAGE OVER JULIEN. Erik plays piano, and that takes a LOT of careful, practiced finger movements, so I don't think he'd have that much trouble adjusting to the controls. He might think the screen is too bright though.

I think Erik would play exclusively King Boo, dry bones, or Roselina. He would like to repeatedly red shell Carlotta.

Julien does a lot of work with his hands(painting, whittling, furnishing things), but a lot of that isn't finger-based? It's from the movement of the wrists or arms. Julien is not very coordinated AT ALL, so I think he'd be garbage at Mario Kart 😭 I think he'd main Luigi.

Relies almost solely on Bullet Bill, and ends up in like.. 8th every time.

3. Auto tune.

I THINK ERIK WOULD BE DISGUSTED. I think he'd despise autotune more than he does a naturally worse voice. I think he'd find it insincere and a crime against the arts.

Julien would be more neutral about it? It depends on the level of autotune. I don't think he'd like the sound of it, though. Something about it, I think, would just be overstimulating.
