Okay so I was just discussing it with my boyfriend and I decided that the Tumblr Hoard would appreciate some good food so I'll share this with you guys too

My personal headcanon about Vulcan babies is that they're a lot like cats. They're born with their eyes and their ears shut, plus they're typically a lot chubbier than other humanoid babies. When their eyes finally do open, though, they have big irises and they can't be differentiated from their pupils because they're so dark. Also they can't see super well so they tend to run into things really easily, which is why most Vulcan homes that currently or previously have held children in them don't have many sharp edges. They look like this basically.

I think graveyards by the side of the road are one of the most interesting things to me. Graveyards, a place where time has stopped next to streets or highways which truly show the high paced landscape of our current world. Time indefinitely stopped for some and others it passes seemingly endlessly as they drive down the road to their next destination

I think I’m a way everyone is hurting. Some though in an effort to deal with their pain cause pain to others. Pain, sadness, anger. These are all things that spread like a disease, a wildfire. Destroying faster than you can rebuild

My skull is a cage. I can’t change its construction and I can not change the fact that imbalances exist that end up shaping my world view. How I see the world, interact with others, interact and perceive myself feels out of my control. Even when I try to take control (therapy and meds) it feels useless sometimes. No matter what I will always have to fight for normalcy. There is nothing I could have done to change my genetics. I was forced to find a purpose for an existence I did not ask for. My brain feels like an anchor weighing me down. I wish I could be free of it, if the parts of myself that trap me
