99% of my absolute favorite ships are my Canon muses shipped with one of my sister's OCs. We have so many amazing ideas and I just threw some more at her
Iâm just going to say it now, because it has been bugging me for a while.
There is nothing wrong with self/oc x canon shipping.
As long as youâre not fighting people or sending death threats to others who like the same character, youâre fine.
Itâs honestly sad when i see an artist having fun and shipping their oc with canon, being wholesome and making some cute scenarios, only to see the backlash.
Itâs not cringy to ship oc x canon.
Itâs not âcoolâ to make fun of artists for having creativity.
Itâs not bad to make an OC thatâs a self insert.
Please, can we abandon this behavior and leave it in 2017

When I was 16, I had a fake I.D. and decided to go to a gay bar by myself because some friends bailed on me. While there, an older gentleman bought me a drink. He wasnât a creeper, and he definitely wasnât unattractive. I accepted the drink and began talking to him. No big deal. As the hour progressed, I felt myself feeling strange. I mentioned that I felt like I had a headache, and this guy helped guide me out of the bar. As we were walking down the street, the thought of, âOh god, heâs drugged me, Iâm going to dieâ came to my head. I tried to get away, but I was so drugged up that I could barely walk, let alone speak. It also didnât help that I had really large âgothâ platform shoes because I was going through a phase. Anyway, this guy brought me to his suv and began undressing me. As a final act of defiance, I hit him over the head with my platform shoe. He then punched me, and I remember thinking, âWhy donât they ever give workshops to gay guys about being victims of rape too?â While I was as careful as possible, I never saw the guy slip something in the drink. I even watched the bar tender make the drink. Anyway, I lied there completely paralyzed while this pervert was lubing up. I locked eyes with his for a moment, and thatâs when it happened. A very large and angry drag queen opened the door of the vehicle and beat the shit out of my attempted rapist. She and her other drag friends helped dress and care for me while the police arrived. I was saved by a group of guardian drag queens. They were basically the modern day âangels from heaven.â

i know ive talked about this before but we literally have no reason not to bring the original gay flag made in the 70s by gilbert baker back to regular use!
the pink stripe was simply taken away because pink fabric was too expensive to mass reproduce at the time, and the turquoise stripe was taken away for a really odd reason: for the harvey milk remembrance parade in 1979, they wanted three stripes on each side of the street and didnât want it to be asymmetrical, so they did away with the turquoise stripe. like, they could have fixed it in some other way without removing a whole stripe, but eh whatever historyâs history.
the pink originally symbolized sex and the turquoise was for magic/art and it would just be really cool if we could bring both the stripes back into regular use again since there wasnât any significance behind the removal of the stripes and weâre perfectly capable of mass producing flags with all the stripes again!

What they say: âI just feel like LGBTQ stuff shouldnât be shoved down our throats. Stop forcing it in every show and movie.â
What they mean: âNo oneâs actually forcing me to watch anything. I just donât expect gay people in shows and movies unless itâs explicitly labeled âLGBTQâ. When gay people appear in something Iâm watching outside of that description, it feels like I was tricked into seeing people that I (subconsciously or blatantly) ignore the existence of in real life, and the growing expectation to treat them as equals is actually what I feel is being forced down my throat.â
