Annie was acting all weird and anxious, and it baffled me. I finally quit trying to work her through it and let her be. She stretched out on the living room rug with her head tucked. Charlie slid up beside her, and quietly began petting her and saying calmly, "It's okay, Annie. It's okay. You're just fine. Good girl." She's fine now... Ugh. My heart.

Charlie made this necklace for me in Sunday school today. I asked him if he chose a pink cross for me because I'm a girl. He said, "What?! Nooo, Mom. I just fink it's pretty, just wyke you." Again, how'd I get such a sweet kid? 😭❤🙏🏽
