Today's Activity (Tues April 9th, 2013)
Today was an active day for the Trader|OS community.
A few of the new members and some new traders have been contributing some amazing charts/news analysis.
GOOG
-- one of our college traders notes (in RealTime) that $GOOG is ready for a breakout, ends up popping for almost 5 bucks
http://tos.cc/c7aku2 -- Click here to see the chart (and log in to see the outcome)
BBRY
-- one of our newest members started a discussion about $BBRY
we created a chart to look at some of the technicals here:
 - the retracement -- http://tos.cc/91ysb9
 - a wedge that is forming - http://tos.cc/0i5t86
GCM13 / GLD
As gold is traded globally around the clock we like to look at the futures around 8am for some indication on what to expect for the days session.
-- we noted this base being setup with some key technical levels, this one went for 15 bucks, we were definitely not expecting that, BUT it was a really nice low risk trade setup with some basic block/tackle technicals
-- here is the setup -- http://tos.cc/kl21a1  (if you are logged in, you can hit the REALTIME --> Live Chart feature to see how this trade setup turned out

Daily on $LNKD - bouncing off of support w/bullish kicker. $108ish is your target.  Also good example of a consolidation with a clear range high/low and meaningful centerline.

Bad Exit, should of held to real support
After exiting at the red X, and not re-getting in on the green circle at 744; because i didn't want to trade into the 744.90 price, I failed to take the I could have re-entered the trade at the blue-green circle after the double channel hold of left-right price, and then into a triple top brkout

Reversed out of the sell (red arrow) at the green arrow.  Liked this trade a lot because of the double bottom @ a key price (742.10).  The trade was no fun after the 743.20 price that I was watching held to the tick.  Held my real risk, after missing my partial twice by a tick, and ended up with a solid extended partial and exit which was twice the size of my base partial size.
Partial on the way up at 744, then exited at the same price on the way down, after the the double top hold (two yellow squares).
However, I failed to re-enter the trade at the green circle after the exit; despite the triple top breakout and left side price holding

Great Buy setup in Google this AM:
A text book example of a compression wedge with the a straddle of a shiftline.  It is the straddle of the shift that makes this a a textbook setup, and not merely a random chart pattern.  Without that key price, that was both support and resistance, this trade would have no real odds -- it would simply be a chart pattern.
