A little update from Chile. November 5th.

It's been 19 days since this started. The government still doesn't reply to any of the demands

Today the police shoot to 3 girls who were INSIDE a school. Im gonna repeat this again because this is unbelievable. They went inside the school and literally shoot 3 girls.

The general approval of president Piñera is 13% or less. 13% of the population approves him. He is still said he isn't gonna to resign.

There are videos circulating of the police kidnapping people while dressed as civilians.

Some ministers insist that the President (The fucking president) doesnt have any political responsibility on this. This shit is ridiculous. He is the bloddy president!

The number of injured and people with ocular trauma keep rising

The ammount of accusations of sexual assault made by the police keep rising too.

The number of deaths is 23.

The police is not only using tear bombs, but also pepper spray which are considerate chemical weapons and are practically illegal according to their statute.

The government keep supporting the police and still refuse to knowledge the deaths and the injured people.

The police is attacking even peaceful protest. They are attacking places where there is no protest at all. They are even beating up random people on the streets.

The violence just keep getting higher.

One of the informs of the 5 people that were declared made by agents of the state (the police and the army force) stated that they died by bullets and trauma. The legal medical service, who is in charge of the study of the bodies, said they weren't gonna investigate where the bullets came from.

Public hospitals don't have supplies to work with. The Health minister keeps insisting there is no crisis at the public health system.

Sergio Micco, the director of the National Institute of Human Rights, after a reunion with the goverment said (and I'm quoting) that "here is no systematic violation of human rights". At the next day the workers of the INDH sent a letter on twitter clarifying that what Micco said was bullshit and they didn't support what he was saying. It took Micco a few hours to amend his mistake and rectify what he said. Now the trust that a lot of Chileans had on this institution is gone.

The ONU arrived and had several reunions with the INDH but apart from that I personally haven't hear anything from them.

If you are reading this and you have read post about the situation in Chile before, you know that this is just escalating. This is not gonna stop.

The government keep killing us, torturing us, sexual assaulting people (kidnapping too, apparently) but specially they keep laughing at us.
