Sushi e tradizione italiana: le curiosità legate alla cucina giapponese

Il sushi é diventato uno dei cibi di “dominio pubblico”, molto apprezzato in ogni parte del mondo. Si possono infatti contare oltre 24 mila ristoranti giapponesi sparsi in tutto il mondo, con buona concentrazione sul fronte italiano. E la qualità viene mantenuta a livello altissimo, come dimostrato da uno degli ultimi locali nati in terra italiana, lo Shi’s di via Urbano III, 3, 20123 Milano MI. Ma che cosa sappiamo del sushi, della sua storia e della sua tradizione?

 Lo sai che il sushi non è originario del Giappone, come invece pensano in tanti, ma è nato con maggior probabilità in Cina? In base a una storia antichissima pare che il pesce in Cina venisse conservato con l’uso del riso cotto e del sale a strati. Veniva poi trasportato durante lunghi viaggi e si evitava che andasse a male. A quel punto il pesce veniva mangiato, mentre il riso veniva gettato. Tutto è cambiato dal 1820 quando un ristoratore locale di Tokyo, Hanaya Yohei, decise di preparare bocconcini di pesce e riso. Da quel momento avrebbe preso sempre più spazio questa tradizione, superando i confini nazionali.
 Negli anni la tradizione ha lasciato spazio all’innovazione e alle influenze provenienti dalle cucine internazionali. Ciò che ha reso tipicamente giapponese il sushi sono infatti le varianti. Alcuni ristoranti in Giappone hanno iniziato a servire un particolare tipo di sashimi con il pesce “fugu”, che è conosciuto con il nome di pesce palla. Solo alcuni chef possono prepararlo in tutto il mondo, poiché se non viene trattato e cotto nei dovuti modi, può essere mortale. Non a caso in Europa è vietato.
 Un buon motivo per mangiare sushi
 Ognuno di noi dovrebbe abituarsi a consumare con una certa regolarità il sushi, sostenendo così il consumo della cucina giapponese. Il motivo? Se combinato con la dieta mediterranea permette di ridurre il rischio di malattie cardiache, diminuendo anche il tasso di mortalità del 15%.

BIM (building modeling information) is the much talked about topic these days in the AEC industry. You may get different definitions of BIM from various sources. While some people say BIM is a type of software, others say it is the3D virtual model of buildings. According to some experts, it is nothing but collecting and organizing all building data into a structure database. In short, we can say BIM is all the above and sometimes some more. But, in simple sentence, BIM is the means by which everybody can understand a building through the use of a digital model.
BIM is a new way of approaching the design and documentation of construction projects.
Building: BIM consider the entire life-cycle of the building such as design, build and operations
Information: It includes all information about the building and its life-cycle
Modeling: BIM defines and stimulates the building, its operation using integrate tools and its delivery
BIM model, if explained in layman’s term, consists of the virtual equivalents of the actual building parts and pieces that are used to build a building. BIM elements have both the physical and logical characteristics of their real counterparts. In other words, BIM elements are the digital prototype of the physical building elements like columns, windows, walls, doors and stairs etc. These elements help us to understand its behavior in a computer environment way before the real construction work starts.
BIM can be called as an intelligent model-based process, as it helps you plan, design, construct and manage buildings and infrastructure more accurate and precise. BIM services enables the construction industry more innovative and competent by providing the right information at the right time. Internet Traffic

Cyberspace is an enormous invisible world that connects millions of computers to each other. Data, files, and graphics flow in the zigzag of paths in the information highway. Millions of bytes of information flow every day from all paths emanating from all the continents.
When Internet node was established in the 1960s, information flowed among forty computers. For nearly twenty years, the Internet was kept away from the public domain by restricting access to defense and research purposes. During this period, information flow between nodes doubled every year. This depended on the performance of the computer; and the performance of the chips doubled every eighteen months.
The information highway is composed of computers, packet switches, routers, and optic fiber cables. Information travels from the sender to the receiver by hopping through a number of computers and routers in its path. Internet traffic is defined as the number of bits of data flowing in the highway during a specified period.
Internet traffic is determined by cost per bit of traffic flow. The cost is dependent upon the processor cost, communication cost, and trunk cost. The processor cost is determined by the performance of the semiconductor, which doubles every eighteen months according to Moore's law. Communication cost depends upon the switching mode. Trunk cost depends upon the carrying capacity of the medium.
Internet traffic is composed of mails, web pages, and voice. The growth of data traffic is so high that it has overtaken voice traffic over the years. Currently, traffic is expanding four times per year and maturation is taking place, which can be seen by consolidation of broadband services.
The majority of Internet traffic is contributed by developed countries but traffic from developing countries is growing. The poor rate of Internet traffic is attributed to the absence of traffic infrastructure and low level of computer penetration.
