So, Luigi's mother said she has a "computer education". I wonder if his interest for CS started from his bond with her and she was the one who initially encouraged him to pursue this area. It's kinda sweet to imagine him sharing his knowledge with her as he learns more from classes and researches!

On today’s episode of Learn from Luigi, we encourage you to be a good friend.
Be there for your people. Make time to have a meal with a friend. Check on those who haven’t texted in a while. Be one call away. Answer your friends’ msgs as soon as you can. Support their hard work. Show how proud you are of them. Show up for them. Give them piggybacks. Cook for a friend. Be silly with a friend. Cry with a friend. Hug a friend. Appreciate a friend. Bury a body with a friend (jk). Let your friends know they can count on you no matter what.
Be a companion; be a confidant; be like Luigi.

LUIGI MANGIONE UPDATE (23/1/25)
Synopsis: Love and solidarity for Luigi transcends prison borders
Earlier today: Someone who was incarcerated in the same prison as Luigi Mangione (the previous location of Huntingdon Pennsylvania) has revealed what it was like to share a prison with Luigi at that time. This update is new because only now has someone been released from prison who was one of the inmates at the time, and they are currently sharing their experiences with this case.
They detail how the entire prison went into lock-down mode anytime Luigi was escorted from his cell. No one was allowed to move until Luigi was safely escorted from any one place to another. He was kept in a blue padded suit (different from the orange jumpsuits everyone else wore.) This type of suit is to prevent self harm. They took extreme precaution with him that other inmates had never seen before. No one was allowed to interact with him.
Tumblr media
Back in December 2024, The entire prison system had already heard rumors about Luigi's heroism prior, as many had access to the news stations. But despite those news stations solely reporting bad things about Luigi, all of them recognized him as a hero and already adored him. Rumors began that he was now located in their prison, and it became gossip of the entire inmate population. People couldn't believe it. They exchanged word of mouth about how poorly he was being treated and it made many of the inmates upset.
Then news reporters came. Prisoners initially began using a tactic of blinking the lights in their cells to communicate with the reporters "I see you, I am communicating with you in solidarity with your cause" and to answer questions. They were punished by the prison for doing this, and told they would be placed in solitary confinement as well as have other punishments (some reports say reduced food privileges) were they to keep talking to news. But this did not deter the inmates. Instead, they stopped using their blinking lights (so the prison couldn't single out which cells were responsible) and instead began communicating via shouting in unison as loud as they could, the whole prison, communicating with reporters outside the prison. Their demands were for the prison to be kinder to Luigi, to beg them to treat him nicer, to allow him to watch television, any kind of comfort, and most importantly to free him because he's a hero.
Tumblr media
Some inmates were aware their voices were likely too faint or drowned out, but they felt like Luigi was giving them a voice as a whole and people were so happy to just be part of this.
"His brothers here will intently follow his case as it moves forward through the criminal justice system, all the while telling anyone who’ll listen, if it had been them, what they would have done to keep from getting arrested in the first place." They talk about what they would've done differently if it meant they could save Luigi. They all agree that they were part of something historic and remember the event very fondly.
_
Later, at Luigi's re-location to MDC (where as of this post he still resides), fans of Luigi came to hold a noise demonstration to keep Luigi company on New Years Eve. Supporters were ringing bells, blowing trumpets, whistles, and banging on home depot buckets as drums while standing outside the prison. It appears that Luigi learned from the inmates of Pennsylvania on how to show solidarity with those outside a prison, because supporters quickly noticed the window of Luigi's cell began flashing lights. This was met with cheers as onlookers hope this means Luigi was showing the same solidarity for them as the previous prison had showed for him

Lu with severe PTSD and anxiety after being falsely framed for murder.
oh my god :( just thinking about it is making me tear up. what the system has done to lu is beyond inhumane, i can’t even begin to imagine how much stress and anxiety all of this has given him. you’d be by his side every step of the way, would read books and articles about ptsd and learn how to help him, how to avoid triggering his anxiety, learn how to deal with it together because it’s something that will never leave him, i think it’s quite impossible to be able to move on from what he went through. i think lu could possibly feel insecure about it but it’s something he never asked for, and you tell him that all the time, you’ll gladly reassure him 24/7 if needed, you would tell him you guys are a team, you’re sticking with him no matter what burdens life throws at him because that’s what you do when you love someone unconditionally <3
