Long Time No See!

I just logged onto this account for the first time in a long time and... holy shit. So much has changed it’s unbelievable. The end of the decade has had me a bit nostalgic, and reflecting on the incredible experiences I’ve had is making me feel eternally grateful and honestly kind of sad. In this decade I went from 12 to 22 which is just crazy to think about. I went from middle school to having 2 bachelors degrees. Such rapid changes from year to year that were hard to notice in the moment. 

I will always remember my time in high school very fondly which I’m very thankful for. Life was so simple even when it felt like it wasn’t. My life pretty much consisted of blogging about and talking about One Direction and 5SOS and I really couldn’t have been happier. Their lives made me happy, seeing them all grow and succeed made me happy, and I made a lot of friendships along the way as I’m sure a lot of you have as well. 

In this decade I was able to go to EVERY ONE DIRECTION TOUR. I acknowledge how fricken lucky that is and those are some of my favorite memories that I wish I could go back to. I also camped out for 5sos at the forum and got to fricken MEET THEM not only there but also the next day when we went stalking. The RUSH I would get from meeting these people! The amount of power they had over my feelings! It’s kind of funny to me now, but I still have so much love for all of them in my heart. In August I actually saw Luke walk by at Sad Summer Fest and my heart fell out of my asshole and I felt 17 again lol. 

I’m not here to brag and I’m sorry if it’s coming off that way. It’s just that the fangirl culture was such a huge part of my life, and honestly it’s a part that’s hard to let go of. Life was fun and always exciting! And now I’m growing up and it’s... a lot. It’s just a lot. This isn’t meant to be depressing. I know there are new adventures out there waiting for me. It’s just a matter of stepping into the unknown which I’m not super comfortable with. 

I logged onto this account to see that there’s STILL ACTIVITY ON IT. Like, WHAT!! This blog was my baby. I was so proud of it and I worked so hard on it, so thank you all for the years of support, the laughs and the tears, and the lifelong memories.
