A personal tribute to Voltairine de CLeyre (1866-1912), American anarchist activist. She was considered by Emma Goldman to be "the most endearing and brilliant anarchist ever born in the United States."

Venus in Glitch | This work is a rereading of a project I did a few years ago. The initial idea was to create a wallpaper for a themed pub. As the client did not approve the result, I ended up including it in my image bank. Interesting that at the time, I never imagined that there would be a "statuewave" as avant-garde in pop culture. Well, here we are recoding the glorious Venus of Milus.

This is the first work in which I applied the aesthetic concept, seeking a dialogue with vaporwave and seapunk elements. The challenge was to create alternative art for director Matthew Warchus's movie Pride (uk, 2015) poster. Taking advantage of the fact that the story takes place in 1984, I decided to research the current wave of fetishization of nostalgic objects, the use of pixelart and glitch language, as I mentioned earlier, Well, the result is there, I hope you enjoy.
