Self Love & Mindfulness Tips #SelfLoveIsntSelfish
Self-Love & Mindfulness Tips #SelfLoveIsntSelfish
I’ve been inspired by the boohoo.com #SelfLoveIsntSelfish campaign to share my thoughts on self love and mindfulness. The concepts of self love and mindfulness as well seem to be talked about more and more these days and have definitely become in ‘vogue’ in the self-help book isle.
For me, self-love is all about how you treat yourself; the things you expect from yourself, how you reward…

Ballie Ballerson with Boohoo.com
Ballie Ballerson with Boohoo.com
When Boohoo invited me to an event at Ballie Ballerson in Shoreditch, I was curious to see what the event would actually involve! Like most adults, I haven’t been to a ball pit since I was a child, but it turns out that adult ball bits are all the rage in East London.
Ballie ballerson have 1 million plastic balls in the venue. Across a number of different ball pit. The main one is full of pink…

Thai Square Spa London
Having been to Thailand, and become addicted to the Thai massage technique, I couldn’t wait to try out Thai Square Spa which is just off the Strand in central London.
In the shiny red changing rooms I popped on a nice soft dressing gown and headed downstairs to the spa
Really comfy slippers!
How gorgeous is the walkway to the treatment rooms!?
Downstairs was much bigger than the venue…

Afternoon Tea At The Perception Bar W London
It was a sunny bank holiday Monday in London and I made my way through the bustle of Leicester Square to the W Hotel. I was there to try the Afternoon Tea at The Perception Bar there, which was themed around the English garden (I was hoping for a flower wall!).
The food is served in a black plastic box with compartments that you open or pull out. Kind of like a black jewellery box. Sometimes it…

A Day Out At Kew Gardens
A Day Out At Kew Gardens
Kew gardens is an easy train ride away from central London. I actually opted to drive and parked by the river in what was a surprisingly large car park that actually had spaces! (Something I’m not used to in London).
First stop was coffee, and a trip to The Orangery a gorgeous cafe in the north of the park.
After a nice coffee and vegan apple cake, we headed to the nearest attraction – the…

Spring Restaurant At Somerset House
Somerset House is always gorgeous in the summer. Along with the exhibitions, the bar overlooking the Thames is has a fabulous buzz and great views. On this occasion, I payed a visit to the Spring Restaurant for their pre-theatre Scratch Menu. This menu is quite unique as it changes every day – the chef comes up with different dishes based on the leftovers from the previous day!
Enjoy the pics!

Van Arthur Master Florist Class
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll probably know that I’m a big flower fan, so when Van Arthur florists invited me to a masterclass I jumped at the opportunity.

New Haircut At Rush Salon Clapham Junction
Following an onslaught from the sea and the sun on my recent holiday, it was time to head to the hairdressers for a much needed cut and restyle. I headed to Rush Salon in Clapham Junction for an appointment with a senior stylist to sort me out! After a consultation, we decided to go for a more layered look, with layers also being put into the end of the hair on the crown on my head (a new…

Pilates, Yoga, Nutrition & Champagne at the AllBright Club
It was a gorgeous morning in London, and as the spring weather had finally arrived I was able to cycle through Chelsea, Westminster and Soho to reach The AllBright Club in Fitzrovia. The beautiful 5-storey Georgian Townhouse is an oasis right in the beating heart of the city. This members club is a bit different to most, being designed as a space for women to thrive, welcoming female…

Scissors Palace - New Fav London Hairdressers and Beauticians
It was a beautiful still autumn morning when I cycled up to Holland Park to visit Scissors Palace for the first time. Established for 40 years, I was really excited to get a fresh hair cut and much needed pedicure. Walked in the first thing which struck me was the warmth of the staff and the friendly family vibe. The salon was busy and the customers and staff seemed to be well acquainted – I…

Getting Semi-Permanent Eyeliner Done
Getting Semi-Permanent Eyeliner Done
As someone who is quite fair, wearing eyeliner can make a big difference to my look. When I first heard about semi-permanent eyeliner, it was something that immediately appealed to me; the idea of waking up with part of my makeup done, or being able to go swimming with eyeliner, sounded like a great idea to me. I headed down to The Pure Pigmentation clinic in Surrey. I’d seen Hannah’s work online…
