How did you survive people critiquing your art in school? Id cry even if they’re right.

Um basically I'd have crippling anxiety before critique and cry later by myself if someone was being harsh LMAO god especially when I had professors who would just shit on anything anyone made it was... It was not fun loooool

But towards the end of my education I got more picky with the kind of professors I'd take (ones who knows how to critique without being cunts) and I was lucky that most of my classmates weren't ever assholes in their feedback mainly bc my tolerance for crap like that is just non-existent now

Why don’t you take a break for the remainder of the year? Start back up in 2026 more relaxed and maybe even a fresh mind to make new artwork

😭 I committed to 3 cons that I can't get refunds for the rest of the year...one including this weekend...haha... I think I will probably just slow down on making new stuff tbh and then next year limit myself to 2-3 just so I don't lose priority on some of them 🥹
