I dunno if I can say it's objectively the best one I've read, but I care about the characters so goddamn much aaaaa

Nari's gradual growth from self-conscious to someone who totally owns her shit is so good, and it's executed so naturally that you don't even really notice until a chapter comes up that reflects on earlier ones. Seonji is my favorite, being simultaneously super sweet but also willing to kill at a moments notice. Mirae is absolute gender. And Yuna is the autistic queen.

Some people don't like where part 2 is going but I still follow the series just as religiously as I started it. Yeah the shift in focus is a little disappointing since obviously I wanna see more of all the girls, but I really love this take on a school romance starring a character that we've seen grow so much over the years, and I think it's a good way to keep things feeling fresh after the series has gone on for so long.

Also no, I haven't seen the K-drama yet. I'm sure it's good, I just wanna wait until the series concludes first before I dig into any adaptations of it.
