Summary - He had never wanted this for Chen. He had known from the moment he met her that whilst she would be an excellent cop, a true asset to the department, if she ever was dealt the unlucky hand where she had to take someone’s life in order to save her own or someone else’s, it would weigh heavily on her. Her heart was too good to be able to move forward without missing a step. And today had been the day when she had had to pull that trigger and end the life of an offender.
