It’s don’t like rain during concerts, but feeling a gentle drizzle while Massive Attack played Teardrop was kinda beautiful!
Wonderful concert too. Really lost myself in the music.

Sometimes Apple in their attempt to have cute branding end up with really militaristic sounding names. Some years ago it was the (cancelled) AirPower, and yesterday it was Apple Intelligence.

Hot take: it was totally reasonable for Apple to cut 32-bit macOS support when they did. They warned of this change a decade in advance! Just about everyone except game developers got the memo and moved to 64-bit many years in advance. It was always unreasonable to expect 32-bit to last forever.

I am tired of artistically ambitious movies so often centering on something gross, disgusting and awful. It’s cheap.
Having fucked up themes does not make a movie ‘deep’.

Loving the new Dr. Who. The writing seem to be some of the best it’s been in years and the Ncuti Gawta is making the best of that material. Wonderful stuff!

A lot of my usage of tabs in browsers is because I don’t trust the back button.
The modern web is filled with so much JS stuff that doesn’t (properely) support going the back button.
15 years ago I’d go back and I would go back to the page in the specific position! Not today.

I wonder if there’s some fantasy universe where (Dark) Lords of Chaos are just very concerned with dynamical systems where very small changes in initial parameter values yield extremely large change in outcome.

I’ve been curious about learning Flutter for a good while, but seeing Google firing lots of people at their Dart and Flutter teams is making see going into Flutter as a very risky proposition.
Don’t Google understand how severely they are undercutting faith in their devtools by doing this?

My opinion on architecture is that there should be a lot more colour. Not everything needs to be black, grey or brown.

Ravel by Katia & Marielle Labeque is such a gorgeous album. The piano tones are just so delicate. Absolutely lovely stuff.
I’m don’t really listen that much to classical music, but this stuff just so… tactile. Highly recommended.

Thatcher absolutely was awful, but it’s quite telling that no men that pushed the exact same politics never get anywhere near the same vitriol thrown at them.

Find it kinda upsetting that unless you engage with Facebook, Facebook Messenger og (also Meta-owned) Instagram you risk loosing out on being in touch with some people. I get it, those are much easier to use. It just sucks that you have to sacrifice privacy in order to keep in touch.

The new EP Mahal by Glass Beams is absolutely amazing. I’ve been looking forward to it since the title track (which is a good starting point to get into them) released a month ago. They released the EP among others as a full video with live studio performance. Mesmerising stuff! 🎵

Just finished playing Limbo again. What an gorgeous game (with interesting puzzles). It’s quite grusome a lot of the time (not to mention creepy, parts of the game are directly inspired by the director’s arachnophobia). Still, not a proper horror title (those are too much for me).

From what I can tell Tailwind is usually replacing JavaScript-based styling solutions, not vanilla CSS. Even if you have a traditional view on web dev, isn’t that an improvement?
Also: I don’t remember there being such hatred for CSS framework in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
