All right FINALLY GOT A RESPONSE that said my account was terminated for being spam and will not be restored (sure man, at this point, WHATEVER) but didn't mention the issue of my subscription at all. So I replied AGAIN but I'm guessing the issue is just back at the end of the queue so WHATEVER MAN

Tumblr support has to be down to like one beleaguered moderator on the edge of their sanity bc after my tumblr got terminated for no discernible reason 4 months ago, JUST YESTERDAY I got an automated email to the effect of “sorry this has taken so long. do you still care? if you still care, respond to this email and we’ll move you up in the response queue.”

And I said yes I would still like my request to be reviewed because tumblr recently sent an email letting me know that my paid subscription is about to renew and if I can't access my account in a few days I'll have to take it up with my bank

i dont see why i cant start a trend, so here goes. lets try to build back our attention spans. lets try to focus on just one thing for as long as possible. lets not watch those "asmr for people with adhd" videos where they fuck up adhd folks even worse. lets resist the urge to reach for our phones when watching a movie. lets read the articles we reblog, even when theyre boring. i know its hard, i have adhd too, but its worth it. i also know that this hard work doesnt always seem super impressive to other people, so id love for yall to tell me in the tags or replies if youve done something, no matter how small, for your attention span. you deserve to feel like youve taken back some of what social media has ripped from you

The Kotone Cutscenes Project is out now!

The Kotone Cutscenes Project is a mod for Persona 3 Portable (PC or PSP version) that implements reanimated versions of every cutscene from the original PS2 release of Persona 3 to match the Female protagonist route of P3P. This includes alternative versions of scenes for choices exclusive to this route (eg. Theodore or Elizabeth).

why did we ever get rid of letter columns

idk i think what is interesting about astarion to me is the fact that you have a guy who started out an asshole (normal type) and then spent two hundred years in a very carefully and specifically crafted (by the writers of the game) Become A Terrible Person Or Die nexus. like it wasn’t just a Torment Nexus, he wasn’t just in hell, i feel like this is very important not to forget, he was in hell but it was specifically a hell designed to, over time, kill the empathy of anyone trapped in it, kill their brain’s ability to prioritize other peoples’ survival, to numb one’s conscience.

and then he gets yanked directly out of that nexus and despite that the fact that he spent, again, two hundred years in a situation that was sort of a rock tumbler for the human soul, there’s still a pebble left in there. and it’s a pebble that can be grown if placed in the right environment and provided with a support network.

so i think it becomes interesting because it really does i think force you to start thinking about the limits of free will even on as basic a level as the human personality. i think the fact that he becomes such a different character based on player choice, that his end morality is so hugely dependent on player choice, is uhhh. a big part of what the devs were going for probably.

it makes a lot of people really uncomfortable to acknowledge some bad people would be good people if literally nothing changed except they had a good support network and different circumstances. especially because it means the opposite is also true. which is even more uncomfortable.

you know that part in the beginning of fellowship of the ring where gandalf is talking about how gollum is ultimately only like that because of the ring and gandalf thinks his story is sad? astarion is kinda like if they sexualized gollum.

Hello! This is toppie aka tophatting. A couple months ago my account of over 10 years was terminated without notice or reason given. When customer support didn't respond to my ticket after a certain timeframe, everything appears to have been completely wiped.

I haven't made a new account because honestly I have been too sad. But I do still want to share my art and writing moving forward, so I will be doing that here. I'm hopeful that the termination was a mistake (like, my account was mistaken for a bot somehow) and that I can stick around, but if not, you can find me on bluesky, twitter, and AO3.

For now, I won't be reposting my art (there was over a decade of it. and that is very sad) except by request. If there is art you would like to see again (that you can't find the zombie post of), just send me an ask! I should be able to find it in my backups and repost it for you.
