I think the plotline in the early seasons where Skyler and Marie have a huge falling out bc Marie can't stop herself from shoplifting and it eventually gets Skyler into trouble when she's blamed for it trying to return the diamond tiara is so so so underrated and important to Skyler's character arc. like it illustrates so succinctly that Skyler is a rule follower! Skyler does NOT want someone else's bad choices reflecting poorly on her! Skyler hates when people are dishonest with her! Skyler will cut out those closest to her when they aren't being up front with her but she will NOT go to the police to testify against them. It honestly makes it so much heavier seeing the way Walter manipulates and implicates her in his crimes. how trapped she must feel when she realizes she has nowhere else to run. How complicated a situation where she is actively faced with a life changing amount of money procured through heinous means must really be for her. I often see people describe Skyler as a selfish, thankless bitch but I don't see her that way at all. Skyler is a great example in a lot of ways of a just person stuck in a deeply unjust situation. of someone who slowly becomes tangled in Walt's web of deception until one day she wakes up and realizes she is completely stuck in it and it's suffocating her in real time. Idk. Skyler White they could never make me hate you. They could never make me see you as anything less than a truly complex and intricately designed character and one of the best morally ambiguous women I've ever seen portrayed on screen. She is SO important to me

Character ask meme: Lydia from Breaking Bad
How I feel about this character: She grew on me, i like her a lot. Her contradictions make her quite complex. On one hand, she's quick to threaten to murder people's infant daughters (learned from the best fr) but on the other, she can't stand to see the consequences of her actions. She's a coward, but she still faces her perceived imminent death with a lot of courage. She feels little to no empathy for others, but she still love her daughter. She gives me lots to think about!
I also like and agree with Laura Fraser's thoughts about Lydia.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: No one, I don't think she's capable of maintaining a romantic relationship.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: I'm intrigued her relationship with Peter and Gus in that one scene, they all seem close (bare feet level of close no less). Her interactions with Mike were also pretty good.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I guess that I don't ship her with Kim or Skyler, it's really the only "popular" opinion that I've seen about her lol. The lesbian headcanon is fine though (especially given her "very strange issues with women").
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: I wish she'd been in BCS s6, too bad Laura Fraser couldn't make it.
