So it was my friend Elligy’s birthday about a month ago and last Friday I managed to finish drawing something for them.

One day they told me about this idea of magic ink tattoos that change and move either on their own volition or affected by the person’s mood and feelings. This lead up to talking about Ford’s Allstar tattoo and how it would probably run away if Stan started kissing the skin around it. 

I have some short writing I would like to do with this concept, but for now you get the art.

Au where Stan and Ford grow old together in Gravity Falls, whether it be because the accidental science experiment sabotage didn't break their bond or because Ford didn't go through the portal and they found some way to deal with Bill.

Their relationship isn't necessarily secret, but that's mostly because most of the townsfolk don't even realize they're different people! Stanley is more well known simply because he gets out more, while Ford is ever the recluse and prefers hiking into the woods to get fresh air rather than going into town. Even if Stan eventually does the whole Mystery Shack thing, Ford doesn’t really want to pop in one of his tours. And for those who do know, well, living with family isn't at all uncommon around these parts.

So long as it's behind closed doors and no one else is around, they can be themselves and live in domestic bliss. Or the closest they can manage to it.

It's all well and good and dandy. And then, what do you know? He gets a call from his nephew asking if he and Ford want to take the kids for the Summer.

Stan says yes without thinking. Can you blame him? He and Stanford haven't seen them since they were born! It's too late to back out now. And even if it wasn't, Ford would be lying if he said he didn't want to see the kids again, too.

Cue Stan and Ford trying (and failing) to keep up the act that they are in fact Very Normal and their relationship is strictly brotherly around Dipper and Mabel. For the entire summer.

Teen!Stan clumsily confesses his feelings to his brother. And Ford is taken aback and horrified and a little disgusted, but he just tries to pretend it never even happened and Stan is fine with that, too, if it means it doesn't change or damage their relationship. But it does. It contributes to the rapidly growing divide between them, the tension that snaps the night Stan accidentally ruined Ford's project.

Ford feels so free away from him, like he can finally breathe. And yet, somehow, he misses the suffocation. The close proximity. The likely wandering eyes while he's changing. Ford misses Stanley, more than he feels he should. He tries to write it off as nostalgia and nothing more. Ford only dares to contact him as a last resort. The last thing he sees of this world is his brother's face.

Thirty years later, Ford comes out of that portal just as obsessed as Stan is, if not more. It colors every decision he makes, every word he says, every time he projects himself onto his great nephew. Fury mixes with desire and longing. He wants to rip Stan apart and then stuff him into his mouth so they'll never be separated again, then vomit him back up because Ford couldn't stomach him.

Even after Weirdmageddon, it doesn't get better. Sure, they've reconciled and love one another again (as if they could ever really stop), but there's so much left unsaid. They're together on this little boat like they've always dreamed but it's so, so suffocating. Ford wants Stan to keep choking him with his presence just as much as his lungs scream for more space.

Does Stan still love him like that? Does he still want him that way? He's spent decades waiting for him, trying to find him, but surely not. Ford doesn't deserve him. He doesn't dare ask.

But he does watch Stanley as he sleeps. Steals his dirty clothes and inhales so deep and long that his lungs ache. Watches him out of the corner of his eye. Steals glances while Stan is changing.

Ford can feel a familiar tension building up. The kind of tension you feel only when two people are much, much closer than they should be. The kind you feel when you stop thinking of yourself as one person and instead just one half of a whole. It's only a matter of time before the tension snaps again.

GOD I'm a sucker for bill finding out that Ford wants to fuck Stan so so nasty it'll make a nuns eyes bleed. And tbh while it's probably realistic he'd be jealous at worst and indifferent at best, it WOULD be funny if he actually uh. Got kinda into it.

Wait lmao au where Bill asks to be their third and they're like ???? No???????????????? What the fuck?????

But anyways yeah @cravingpepsimax and I were talking about a redeeming bill au where, in the Theraprism, after a while of good behavior they let him become pen pals with someone of his choice. He chooses Mabel, originally to fuck with the Pines some more, ESPECIALLY by bringing up that HEY SHOOTING STAR. ISNT IT SO WEIRD THAT YOUR UNCLES WANT TO SUCK EACH OTHERS FACES OFF? THATS SO WEIRD THAT MUST UPSET YOU HUH

and Mabel is like OMG YOU NOTICED TOO???????? OMGOMGOMGOMG bc she's had nobody to talk to about this. And eventually Bill and Mabel do actually end up bonding by fujoing out over Stancest

Half finished draft I found

Stan slipped into his room quietly, sending a quick look around before he closed the door and locked it behind him. ‘This isn’t going to work.’ He mentally grumbled, pulling the box he hid under his bed out. The frilly, lacy fabric swayed in the light breeze as his trembling hands reached down to pick it up. No way was this plan going to work, this was stupid, idiotic, a waste of time… but even as he told himself all of this, he found himself robotically putting on the outfit.

Ford and Fidds had spent weeks down in the basement, just buried in their nerd work. He was lucky if he was able to convince them to go to bed before daybreak on some nights, but most of the time, he had to just throw food in front of them and carry their exhausted asses to a couch or something so they could get a little rest before they threw themselves back into their work. Stan hadn’t heard much more than a grunt or a distracted ‘thanks’ in weeks, hence why he was stooping to such a plan. Surprisingly, the outfit hadn’t been too hard to get, he simply had gone over to the next town and stopped by a shop.

The look the cashier had given him had been funny, a mixture of disbelief and interest once he had learned that the man in front of him was going to be wearing this outfit, not some twinky cutesy boy - the kind that normally wore these kinds of things. The kind that actually looked good wearing something like this. He fumbled with his hair, unsure if what to do with it. Should he put it up, leave it hanging around his shoulders? He didn’t dare try and look in the mirror, he knew if he saw himself, he would lose his nerve and would die of embarrassment.  He wasn’t as in shape as he used to be, he was pudgy and soft. No matter how many times Ford or Fidds had told him that his ‘love handles were cute’, he knew how others saw him.

With each step, he felt the constraining fabric flex and billow around him, making him half worried that he would just tear if before he even made his way to the boys, but no, he knew it was sturdy. He had messed with it enough to know it would be able to handle what was to be thrown at it. Or well, what he hoped would be thrown at it. So much planning had gone into this, but there was always the fact that he wasn’t entirely sure how Ford and Fidds would react. Would they laugh? Would they jeer? Would they even notice?

“Stanley, where on earth have you hidden the -” his brother’s words died in his throat as Stanley slowly pushed open the door and sent him an innocent look.

“Hidden what?” He asked, swallowing back his nervousness and embarrassment. Ford just stared, his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide with shock as he took in Stanley’s outfit.

“Have you found it, Stanford?” Fidds came out of the elevator as well and just like Ford, he stopped and stared in shock.

“Are you guys OK?” Stan had to ask, pushing out what he hoped was he normal chuckle.

“Stanley”

“Sweetheart.” The words escaped both men in an almost reverent whisper and suddenly Stanley was hit with something akin to pride.

So apparently someone has posted two of my Stancest stories word for word but just changed the names. To be honest I'm not mad, just curious why they're trying to polish a turd and posting it as their own.
