franz kafka once wrote, "there are times when I'm convinced I'm unfit for any human relationship" and "I'm fond of lovers but I cannot love, I'm too far away, am banished". that sums up how I've been feeling these days. I observe people from my little bubble, wondering what it is that they possess that I don't. maybe, they too know that I don't have it. maybe I push people away or maybe they drift away on their own. It's like I'm watching life happen from the sidelines.

Tell me you are an introvert but make it poetic-

often the corners of my lips turn up for a smile but it is forced, mechanical, instinctual rather than anything meaningful and more often than not it turns into a grimace.

often i wave towards people i knew but they always look past me and i'm left there standing waving in air.

often i offer something, my own two cents but the people around me are more focused on the sound of the music than my own silent tone and i'm left to talk to the ghosts.

often i say something funny but the punchline isn't amusing enough to catch people's attention for long and my grin fades just as i creep back into the shadows.

i am but a jester, i do not how to entertain people without making a fool out of myself for the sake of a few awkward chuckles.
