What a wonderful semester! Thank YOU, I have the best students!
FINAL POST:
#Art appreciation class was the best class ever that I have been taken as a electives course in college. This class opened my mind, and my eyes to see that Art is exist in many form, in every culture, Like language and laughter, art is a fundamental human behavior. By taking this class I believed that we definitely need Art in our life, because:
- Art is Communication : We need art to have a full range of expression.
- Art is Healing: We need art to keep us healthy.
- Art Tells Our Story: We need art to understand and to share our individual and shared history.
- Art is a Shared Experience: We need art to keep us connected.
We also learned Art in a different times (such as renaissance art, earthwork,…) , different shapes (sculpture, James Hampton’s Folk Art, …). I learned a lot about either modern Artist and Artists who lived in past. I learned that in order to be successful in art, sometimes you need to be patient (Andy Goldsworthy) !!
**Last, I want to appreciate my amazing professor @tonyakehoeart, who makes this class so interesting to learn, and so fun with her sense of humor . She cares a lot about her student to learn, unlike some other teachers here in college, who just teach !! THANKS A LOT :) <3

Great job! And thank you
Wrapping up drawing 1, I chose drawing one to be a relaxing class compared to others, it fulfilled that and also reminded me that I love drawing. At points it could be frustrating when I didn’t really care about my drawing, and at other points totally immersive and consuming when I cared about my drawing. Overall it is a great class and Tonya a great professor.
