I love these kinds of graphics that show the road-space used by different transportation modes, and this may be my favorite one.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again and again. The most significant transportation advancement we’ll likely make in this century will not be tech-based. It’ll be the redesign of our roads so that the most efficient modes are prioritized and the least efficient (cars) are given less width.
The public domain of our city streets is some of the most precious shared space we have. How we allocate the width of it is important, and it says a lot about our willingness to truly follow through on goals for sustainable cities.
The trick we need to pull off is to accommodate our growing urban population while at the same time reducing car trips and making more room for pedestrians and bikes on the limited space of our city streets.

Step 2 - Knowledge is With Me, But Where Am I?
“KNOWLEDGE IS WITH YOU, COMPLETELY, but it resides in a part of your mind to which you have not yet gained access. Knowledge represents your True Self, your True Mind and your true relationships in the universe. It also possesses your greater calling in the world and a perfect utilization of your nature, all of your inherent abilities and skills, even your limitations — all to be given for good in the world.
KNOWLEDGE IS WITH YOU, BUT WHERE ARE YOU? Today think about where you are. If you are not with Knowledge, where are you? Therefore, three times today, 10 minutes each, think about where you are, not just physically or geographically, but where you are in terms of your awareness of yourself in the world. Think very, very carefully. Do not allow your mind to distract you from this orientation. It is essential now at the beginning of your preparation to ask these questions very seriously.
Practice 2: Three 10-minute practice periods.”

How does pornography affect spirituality?
Here are only a few of the sufferings caused by pornography:
Pornography encourages addiction to lust, especially through mental images. Addiction is a psychological condition that enslaves our willpower, and if allowed to grow leads to total decay of the mind (observe the life of any addict).
Pornography leads to insurmountable sexual dissatisfaction. The porn addict can never satisfy the desire for more stimulation. This leads to unrestrained abuse of the sexual energy and sexual glands, and eventual depletion of one’s vitality, causing early aging, impotence, glandular imbalances, other addictions, etc.
Pornography leads to depletion of our vital energy, which leads to impotence. This in turn has fueled the rise of chemicals and drugs to restore the wasted sexual energy, as well as the tendency to seek ever-more stimulating influences, eventually leading to the total degeneration of the conscience (ie. the person loses all sense of right and wrong, and willingly commits shameful, criminal acts).
Pornography causes the viewer to confuse lust with love. Believing that lust is a sign of love has devastating consequences, leading to Adultery, divorce, promiscuity, loneliness, depression, anger, suicide, etc.
Sexual fantasy via porn corrupts and wastes the creative power (which is fueled by sexual energy, the power of creation. “Those who live dreaming of carnal passions stupidly waste their creative energy in the satisfaction of their fantastic pleasures. Ordinarily, these people do not progress in their business. They fail in every sense. They end up in misery.” —Samael Aun Weor
Pornography is a doorway to prostitution.
Pornography is a doorway to black magic, witchcraft, and other harmful practices. For instance, what is promoted as “Tantra” is actually black magic: it utilizes lust to develop negative powers.
Pornography leads to violence, rape, abuse, etc.
Pornography damages the brain and the heart. By exhausting the endocrine system, all the glands lose balance and strength, leading to sleep disorders, mood swings, difficulty paying attention, etc. The heart becomes dull, dark, empty, and filled with dissatisfaction, despair, loneliness, etc. and loses its sensitivity, empathy, sense of right and wrong, etc.
Looking at pornography is an act of Adultery AND Fornication. Study the real meanings of those words in order to understand this critical point: What is Adultery? and What is Fornication?
Knowing that even the word pornography implies slavery, ask yourself: are you a slave of pornography? Can you live without pornography? Spiritual development is equivalent to not being a slave to anything, thus if you want to be liberated, free of suffering, you must also be free of slavery to porn. Addiction is slavery, self-imposed. Fortunately, it can be conquered, but you have to work hard to conquer it.
Furthermore, can you really accept the suffering that porn causes for others? The porn industry is directly related to the growing industry of sex slaves worldwide, including the slavery and sexual abuse of children. By engaging in the use of porn you are supporting that industry, and thereby support the enslavement and degeneration of others. If you truly want to live a spiritual life and benefit other beings, your every action must reflect that goal.
————-
“Pornographic, erotic novels and movies engender prostitution, seduction and abduction with force and violence, etc., etc. The pornographic movie actors and writers are teaching perversities onto the subconsciousness of children and adults.” —Samael Aun Weor, Sexology, the Basis of Endocrinology and Criminology
“The time has arrived to learn how we must forever stop desecrating sex. It is horrifying to see how we look at sex, namely, pornographic magazines, lust, etc., as if sex were, indeed, something filthy. True human beings never desecrate sex. True human beings know that sex is sacred. Human beings know that wonderful force put the universe into existence. They know that the day the sexual energy ceases to flow in nature the plants and animals would cease to reproduce, all that exists would disappear, the Earth would become a desert. So, why should we see perversity in sex? Why do we spit on the holy shrine of love? Why do we look lustfully at what is sacred, that is, the chemical or metaphysical copulation?” —Samael Aun Weor, Love and Sex
Remedies for Porn Addiction
Stop looking at it, right now, for ever. Daily contemplate the suffering porn causes so that you develop strong resolve.
Negative emotions (lust) are conquered with superior emotions (love). Spend time with innocent people, such as children, the elderly, or those who are spiritually dedicated. These influences will strengthen your heart and dedication to doing what is right.
Study the scriptures, especially the books about transmutation.
Transmute your sexual energy daily: learn pranayama, maithuna, scientific chastity. Sex is sacred treat it so, and you will discover a new way of living. “I am sex which is not contrary to religion.” - Krishna, Bhagavad Gita 7:11
Use the Magic of the Roses to heal your heart.
Use the Eucharist daily to acquire strength and willpower.
Study the Arcanum Six: (Indecision, choosing either the Virgin or the whore)

Developing
As a teenager life was magical the excitement for new experience kept the heart alive with curiosity. The shift happens, and girls go from girls that are friends, to will you be my girlfriend. You began to notice what you never notice before, but it’s been there all along. The way she laughs, the smell of her hair, how her hand feels when she jokingly touches you. Magnetic, your thoughts keep you awake at night imaging, wondering how did this spark become a flame? now I get butterflies at the mention of your name.

10 Lifestyle Habits That Will Help You Create Success
1. Exercise - refreshing the body and mind. Moving into the body allows us time to work our stresses and rejuvenate the mind.
2. Meditation - making time to do nothing. We can become consumed by the idea of chasing our success and this can result in us becoming overwhelmed by our daily tasks. Meditation allows us time to wipe the mental slate clean and approach future tasks with a clear head.
3. Self-love - being there for ourselves. Failures are going to come thick and fast along the road to success and we need to be there for ourselves during the hard times if we’re going to keep pushing forward and chase our dreams.
4. Affirmations - priming the mind for greatness. Repeating affirmations such as “I am in the process of manifesting my success” helps us to reinforce the belief that we will reach our goals rather than just hoping it will happen.
5. Creativity - expressing ourselves. Creativity dissolves resistance inside us that has been created by stress, trauma, unexpressed emotions and negative energy picked up from others.
Tumblr media
6. Positive energy - surrounding ourselves with positive people. Being part of a mastermind group or having accountability buddies is a vital part of achieving success - like-minded individuals encourage each other to win.
7. Authenticity - being true to ourselves. Doing what we love is the surest way to be successful, life’s too short to miss out on what we love and too long to do what we hate.
8. Focus - blocking out distractions. Removing distractions such as negative people, television and drama is how to we remain focused on our goals and invest the most time into them.
9. Visualisation - creating a clear mental picture of the dream. Knowing exactly what we want our future to look like allows us to map our actions to our goals which speeds up the process of manifestation.
10. Work - putting in the hours. The most important part of creating our success is what we choose to do with our time, investing the majority of our waking hours into achieving our dreams will make them a reality - it’s just a matter of time.
What makes us successful is how we use our time.
Peace & positive vibes.

I wouldn’t normally ask for something like this, but the situation is quite serious. Mexico suffered another catastrophic earthquake that already has taken many lives and the death toll is expected to rise.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Please donate to Topos, a rescue team that was formed during the 1985 earthquake in Mexico City and has helped many other countries during catastrophes. YOU CAN HELP EVEN IF YOU AREN’T IN MEXICO. Your dollars are worth almost double in Mexico, so something small as $15 has a big impact. If you can donate, you can do it directly here: Paypal: [email protected]
or visit www.topos.mx If you can’t donate, please share with any friends or family that are interested in helping. The people from my country would appreciate it a lot. Thank you and lots of love!

Please Take Care
Hey guys, I know I haven’t been active for some time and I apologize but this is not what this post is about.
I am here to say that my prayers are with you all who, like me, are in the path of hurricane Irma. The roads are already terrible with everyone trying to leave. I pray safe travels for you all. If you need to talk please feel free to DM me.
A few tips from my roommates and I…
Stock up on water if you can
Buy non perishable foods (canned foods)
Have a first aid kit ready if you can
Make sure you have a way to make fire if you can
Try not to be alone if you can help it
Don’t drive if the water is to high, it is very dangerous and hard to get to you if you need to be rescued
Feel free to add to the list…
Also for those of you who are safe, please be praying that everyone stay safe and destruction is minimal. If anything happens in Atlanta I will keep you all updated.
Much thanks!
P. S. If you are coming into Atlanta and don’t have a place to stay and have no other options, DM me…

Mind your Garden
Every mind is a fertile garden from which thoughts and emotions grow into words and actions. When you speak or act you are not only planting seeds into your soil, you are also planting seeds into the soil/mind of those who are watching and listening to you.
Be careful and fully mindful about the seeds you plant into yourself and others, surely they will grow and bare fruit of it's kind, good or bad/ helpful or harmful.

Conversation
Unawakened Person: I'm better than you.
Awakened Person: Okay.
Unawakened Person: No, really. I am richer, better looking, drive a better car, have a better job and live in a bigger house.
Awakened Person: (With no sarcasm) How wonderful that you have a nice house, job, and car. You are blessed.
Unawakened Person: Wait! No envy? Aren't you jealous?
Awakened person: No, I feel joy for your good fortune and wish you more of it.
Unawakened Person: How are you able to be happy for me when I have more than you and am bragging about it?
Awakened Person: You see my friend each of us values certain things. The things you have mentioned, the possessions and privileges are not important to me. Love is important to me. Compassion is important to me. Kindness is important to me. When one lives this way then there can be no envy of another's material success.
