Lessons from great Aunty Jean and Jeff vandermeer
My nameless name, The nature of an identity gleaned- one that has Manifested from within a cosmos/ The science of everything, Of me and of you – the Cosmogony of, me? My nameless name, betrays Nothing in Hindsight/ irrelevant in taste and form- I waver and I feel, the Pangs of fear and redemption;; Irreverent appreciation of carbon cycles And lifeless lives: A full mind, a full heart – Blood and oxygen and oxytocin and Sertraline hydrochloride. Oestrogen? Testosterone? Progesterone?
In essence, I am of instantaneous Revelations But, essentially, what is necessary?
Calm, calm Acceptance/ of what isn’t, of what is. What is/ often hidden, Deep, And hidden.
If something were not as it were/ If it were not what you had thought- Maybe there was no thought before/ Maybe, there has not been a thought yet Relevant.
Reverence washes me over like water/ That feeling of whole-body blanketing, Consumed- Catharsis.
I’ve always been afraid of drowning/ I’ve always felt fear as I have always been drowning.
The simple intricacy of a bird in flight, Of dead rats in the street/ always, I have gone full circle, from A dualistic approach or, just Incomprehensible denial-
Those Circles of , mortality and an end/ Lines on a page, drawn by an infant- It’s all forever, All of it, is, forever so I may as well play My part/ I will… Go outside and play, If I were to die today, I would be Outside, Playing.
Outside, I am decaying. Inside, I am swaying/ So what, so what- I’m using my timeless time/ I cannot spend it/ I cannot mend this world, Though I can bend it.
A world away, A world today, I will play, I will play.
