You’re not wrong about that. Tessa’s ditched me for you but it’s fine. Draco will love me the most and he and I will live a happy life together. She was so excited! She can’t wait. I told the whole fam to come the week of the wedding so they can help us with everything that whole week. We’re going to be the most annoying married couple on the planet and I can’t wait. I’ve already started working on my vows and, not to hype you up or anything, they’re pretty brilliant so far. I could never be sick of you. I’m surprised you’re not sick of me annoying you all the time.

The best thing about the holidays? Other than the many, many Christmas inspired coffee drinks, the snow, and the plaid pajamas. I’m able to listen to ‘Last Christmas’ by Wham! on repeat, twenty-four seven, without a single thought of judgement. I love plenty of other’s, of course.. but ‘Last Christmas’? It’s a perfect mix of holiday vibes and 80′s pop. I love it! And, if you happen to pass by an apartment that is blaring it on repeat, you can assume that it’s me. Unpacking and putting up decorations? Knocking out a bird with two stones! Now, I’m curious. What makes the holiday season just a little more amazing for you?

Oh, thank god. I thought you were going to say ‘All I Want For Christmas’. Don’t get me wrong, love a bit of Mariah around this time of year but it gets so overplayed and drives me insane. Can’t go wrong with ‘Last Christmas’, though! What a classic. My favourite thing about this time of year is being able to bust out the Christmas sweaters. I have one that I’ve had for years and wear all the time but I’ve added a Spider-Man one to my newly started collection this year so for the whole of this month those are the only sweaters you’ll see me in.

It feels nice to live right by the beach. It’s always an ideal spot for me, especially when I have my son– we can just step outside and go right to the water. Obviously not now, but in the summer when it’s warm again. Still, even now with the cold, it’ll be great for when I feel the need to go running; it’s always so much nicer by the beach. @townofbayview​

Oof, I imagine living in that part of town this time of year is extra chilly. I mean, like, being near the coast always feels extra cold and windy. There’s probably some scientific reason behind it with the waves and the water but my brain is too small to know it. As long as you like it then that’s all that matters! As much as I’m used to the cold, I don’t think I could live by the beach this time of year.

I’ve had a few good ides from people so I’m starting to feel like single me again. The good thing about this town is that it offers such a wide variety of things to do. Nice to know this place as a good gold course. Might be the place to hit up while I’ve got the time. Nice to meet you Tom. 

That’s good, mate. I’m sure you’ll start getting used to the single life again soon enough. There’s always something to do here, yeah! Did you go to the party last night? I always try and hit up as many events as I can while I’m in town but I’m away this week filming Spider-Man 3. But, if you ever need a pal to play some golf with then let me know!

oh man no. please don’t go as far as calling yourself a big dumb. we don’t need that kind of negative vibes. you’re fine. if it wasn’t for this banana pudding thing, i’m fairly sure i’d have absolutely no clue what they are. but they’re just basic vanilla flavored cookies. not really anything to blow your mind. however, they work great in desserts. you have no idea how much i appreciate the vote of confidence tom. i’m thrilled someone believes in my baking skills- or whatever you choose to call it. well we are one and the same there then. i’ve never been that much of the hype of halloween, christmas is where it’s at. a spider man christmas sweater? you are joking.. well if there is a competition of who has the best christmas sweater, i think we all better forfeit straight away. the victory would certainly belong to you.

Did you manage to make it? Was it nice? I attempt to bake once when I was drunk and it went horribly wrong. I promised myself that I’d be able to cook or bake something decent before I got married but... that’s probably not gonna happen. At least you know you’re a better baker than me! Not to flex too hard but I also have a Ghostbusters Christmas sweater so if the Spider-Man one doesn’t beat everyone then you know Ghostbusters will.

With Thanksgiving coming in two weeks the ex came and took the girls so she could spend her time with them. Now I’m all alone and I’m totally bored. Now is the time to explore the town as a single man. I need to relearn what I like to do for fun. I’m so used to being Dad and I have to relearn what it’s like to be Jamie. Pardon my rambling. What do you guys do for fun around here?

You can never be bored in this town! Trust me, there’s always something going on. All you have to do is step outside and you’ll find something to do. Being single is a good time. I was single for the longest time until I met my fiancee and it was a blast. For fun? Hmm. Depends what kind of stuff you’re into.

took a trip to the grocery store yesterday to stock up on nilla wafers, as my current obsession is trying to make the best recreation of the magnolia bakery banana pudding. i’ve even gone so far as to making my own vanilla pudding from scratch, and none of that powdery stuff. i’m taking it way too seriously. but i’m still trying to convince myself it will be worth it.  anways- surely i can not be the only one who is always, i don’t even know.. impressed? confused? by how quickly they go from halloween to christmas. october 31st it’s all ghouls and ghosts and them november first, BAM! it’s all christmas decorations and gingerbread houses. i’m not really complaining though. i’m here for all the christmas things. candles in particular. don’t even get me started about candy canes. ...okay, quick question but what are nilla wafers? Am I being a big dumb dumb? Let’s be honest, that doesn’t take a lot. I don’t know much about anything but still. You can do it, Romee! I believe in you. Definitely impressed. As a Brit, I’m not really a big fan of Halloween and don’t care much for it but Christmas is my time to shine. I pull out the Christmas sweaters and everything. I even managed to nab myself a Spider-Man Christmas sweater so I will be wearing that the whole of the festive season.

So in the middle of moving I had a legitimate ‘what the hell am I doing?’ moment and almost told everyone to pack it up and turn around because moving to somewhere new is utterly terrifying and far too stressful for my tiny brain to deal with, but as soon as I saw the town and my new home I pretty much became the human version of the heart eyes emoji and forgot all about wanting to turn around. I have a charming farmhouse that’s absolutely perfect for rollerskating around in and a wonderful open space outside that I’m very tempted to throw a trampoline in or something subtle like a blow up obstacle course; you know subtle and totally not obnoxious. I’m kidding, maybe but seriously hello, hi I’m Margot and I enjoy rollerskating around my new home and binge watching Bailey Sarian videos because she’s a queen.

I promise you made the right decision moving here! It’s always so scary moving to a new place. I remember when I first made the move here. I was only around twenty-one and all by myself so I thought the same thing then I got settled and everyone was so lovely. I need you to teach me how to rollerskate because I... just can’t. I have no co-ordination when it comes to stuff like that. I can back flip and do all those kind of things but skateboarding and stuff? The worst. Hi, Margot! I’m Tom. Welcome to town.

Exactly! It helps you to get into the feeling of season. I’m all about embracing all the fall things then once Christmas hits, I’ll be just as obsessed with winter themed things. Maisie won’t mind covering for me to protect my very obviously manly ways. Thanks, Gerard! Always knew you were one of my favourites for a reason. I get you. I’ve been to Edinburgh a few times with my dad when he does his comedy stuff and there’s always a little magic about Scotland. Maybe it’s because Hogwarts is up there somewhere. I’m sorry! I’ll go read all those ‘technology for dummies’ books and become the resident town tech expert just for you.

I’m the only worthy Tom. Well, okay, I take that back because Hiddleston is much more worthy but I’m the coolest Tom. You know, I’ve never really tried egg nog. Maybe when I was a kid but I don’t remember. I’ll have to try some this year. Yes, Chris. Nobody trusts me anywhere so I’m only allowed to know my lines and only mine until the day I die. When I first heard about this place, I didn’t expect it to be so quaint and cute and all. Just got here from L.A., and let me tell you, I met a lot of people in the last 18 hours. First of all, getting recognized at the airport still surprises me. There was a teenager who had explain to her little sister that I’m Kristoff. But she was very disappointed to learn that I had to leave Sven back at my friend’s. There’s just no space at my place to keep a reindeer, even though I have a farmhouse and all. Secondly, for a fella who’s running on about three hours of sleep, where’s the best place to grab a coffee? 

You mean you didn’t bring Sven with you? I’m heartbroken. Crushed. I always wanted to meet my reindeer soulmate. Welcome to town, though, mate! I’m sure people have told you about Coral Street already but let me throw a curveball at you: Crumbs & Coffee Beans. Great coffee, great baked goods — the best of the best, I’m telling you.

Of course, it was so sweet of her to offer. I love your mum, almost as much as I love you. Me too. It’ll be like a little holiday to celebrate the engagement. I may spend the whole time saying “This is my fiancé, Tom, have you met?” Even though everyone knows you, just because I can’t get enough of saying it. I’m excited to be honest. Just being with you is the perfect day for me.

Imagine if they ever forgot what we looked like? I don’t think my poor heart could take it. I used to always worry Tessa would think that when I was away filming for months at a time. Luckily, she’s too loyal to ever forget me. My mum loves you so much. I’m pretty sure she’s already planning our wedding in her head. Oh, phew because I keep referring to you as my fiancee and I’ll never stop. Well, until I get to call you my wife then it’ll get even worse. I’ll never stop saying “this is my wife”. You’re my favourite person. I have to go do some filming for Uncharted in Spain in a few weeks. You want to tag along with me?
