LMAO I love when Tom is so petty but also wanna know wtf happened on Chaos Walking that he hates it so much??

and now im extra nervous for the movies considering how much i adore the books 😭

but even for the reshoots he seemed excited...and he praised the cast and Doug so it really does come down to the studio, maybe he saw that after the reshoots were done that the movie is going into a completely different direction and wasn’t satisfied with it anymore? maybe he knows that a lot of fans probably won’t be too happy with it especially since no sequels are coming, but then again maybe something bts happened that we have no idea about and made him distance himself even further

We’ll most likely never know for sure. But if I had to guess something regarding the studio screwed him over and got him upset about it. Lionsgate was the one who called the movie “unreleaseable” after all and made them reshoot the entire thing two years later and they were the ones who constantly delayed the movie for four whole years. I don’t blame him for having a bitter taste in his mouth if that’s the case.

he still talks about Doug/Daisy/Nick/Mads and then he deleted all the CW photos he posted during reshoots so something may have happened during that time. I don’t think he’s worried about his fans because we’ve been hyping it up since Day 1 and are going to see it/love it regardless. I’m seeing it tomorrow and I’m sure I’m gonna love it.
