Hello, sorry if it's a bother I wasn't sure if you were the right person to share this with or not but I've seen you respond to the hate anon's ask often so I came here. They've apparently revealed themself I suppose?? I came across a post (https://www.tumblr.com/psychickryptoniteinfluencer/773072196535975936/meet-the-biggest-clown-in-shonen-jump-new-gen?source=share) in the wind breaker tag that seems very much like them. It's @psychickryptoniteinfluencer I'm guessing it's a fake account though because they only have one post so far and it's just insulting Nii Satoru. I just wanted to share this so it can reach whoever wanted to block them to avoid seeing their posts or asks and minimize interactions with them. Their post is clearly a bait so I wanted this to reach the fans so that they don't end up wasting energy on such things. I suppose it'll reach more people this way. Unrelated but another interesting thing I've noticed is how they have anonymous asks turned off it's funny how they kept badgering people with hate through anon asks but aren't open to it themselves.

Red.

He sees red.

And he doesn't get it.

The fight got over ages ago. They've left, he's left, but all he sees is red. The red of that hair, the red of the ball of that long earring, the red of those cold, unnerving, eerie eyes.

And he's sick of it.

Humiliation, the same kind that he felt during the fight - can it even be called a fight? - fills him. He sees him, standing with his back straight, arm in front of him in some martial arts form, confident, patient, strong. Confident that he'll win, patiently waiting for him to strike and inevitably embarrass himself. He feels the blocks, the shoves, the twists. He feels the wood, the taunts, the yells. He sees Tomiyama dozing, Togame's disappointment. He sees him again, going on and on about that adulthood nonsense, the stairs and imagination and whatnot. He wants it to stop, he wants him to stop, he wants the theater to stop, he wants Arima -

Then, the red is replaced with warm, dark brown.

Like a demon summoned by thought, Arima hunches, hands on his knees, looking at him with so much worry and concern in his eyes. There's no bruises on him, but he knows that his fight with that long mop from Furin has left its mark on him. But there's no sign of it in his eyes, just warmth and concern. For him. Because now they're not Shishitoren's beasts, Shishitoren's scum. Now, they're just Arima and Kanuma.

Kanuma smiles, takes the proffered hand. He's never going to forget today's fight and he doesn't know if he'll ever get over it. But with Arima here, by his side, it sure does feel a whole lot easier.

oh my gosh, you're so sweet!! and as for the minific (all your minifics actually) it's so good! it's amazing how so much can be conveyed through just six sentences. tsuge doing a handstand in the middle of the street, uncaring of any and all vehicles approaching really seems like something he'd do in canon. and kiryu trying to appear like he doesn't know tsuge is also something he'd do in canon imo.

It's kinda crazy when you think about how Ming Yi is basically the less ghastly version of He Xuan. And he was there by Shi Qingxuan's side for centuries, and yet Shi Wudu never found out. He never recognized him.

Imagine being in He Xuan's shoes - like this guy pretty much ruined his life and is indirectly responsible for the deaths of everybody who was dear to him. Shi Wudu rarely descends. But on the eve of Hanlu, he went down to check if he really died or not. He Xuan remembered his face. It probably haunted him during his times at Mt Tonglu, but when he finally meets this person, there is nothing on his face, no shock or horror.

He forgot him, forgot the face of the boy whose life he ruined.

He never bothered to remember. As if he never had a life.

It kind of reminds me of this scene from a manga called Yona of the Dawn. The protagonist is a princess who's on the run. She had lived a sheltered life and was trying her best to adjust to her new life. One day, she had to hunt a fawn for food, and one of her friends asked her if she would be okay with watching it, and she replied that she isn't. It's still hard for her. But she said that in the palace, thousands of animals were slaughtered every day to feed the royal family, and she never paid attention to it. But now, if she averts her eyes, it would be like refusing to acknowledge that the poor creature had a life.

Shi Wudu ruined his life for the sake of his brother, but let alone remorse, he even forgot what he looked like. He was there by his brother's side for centuries, and yet it never struck him, not until the moment his survival was on the line. If he was guilty, would it have changed anything? Would it bring He Xuan's family and the life he lost back? No, but at least it would ensure that his life meant something, anything.

And even after he recognizes him, his first reaction still is not guilt, not remorse. But a question, "You're alive?", perhaps an indirect way of saying, 'did I make a mistake that day?' Or 'did I fail to clear such an important evidence of my crime?'

The person whose life and afterlife is a consequence of his crime, the first thing he says to him is that.
