I’m covering my friends mattress store for three days. It’s boring but bearable and I can’t complain as they’ve got AC during a heat wave.

A queer couple came in yesterday while I was helping an older woman find a guest bed. Instant click of recognition and friendliness. They were on a tight budget so once the lady left I was like, “So you guys are gonna get this full for the price of that cheaper bed, one because it’s all I have but two, because gay discount.”

They were delighted by this. I went to confirm I had the promised bed in the back and when I returned they said, “We thought of something better than gay discount.”
