This post contains spoilers for some of the fast pass episodes in Marionette.

@bananabreadcaramel-4 got me thinking about this... I hope you don't mind me tagging you. If you It was your post that made me see consider this idea. So here we go!

What if the ah'kons were the ones abusing their power and enslaving humans? What if they deemed themselves gods and abused their power? How can this affect the course of the story?

We often talk about Julia's motives and how her sense of justice is misplaced etc, but we often forget Sahed is the same way. He considers all Kalgratt people vile and sees them as his enemy, much like Julia with the ah’kons.

Let’s assume that Ryishmar is in fact a morally gray/villian character; and by some luck, Sahed finally meets him. Would Sahed agree to help Ryishmar because he deems it fair treatment to his abusers? We can't forget Sahed was abused, torture and stripped from his humanity in the research center. It is obvious he wants revenge.

But what if he joins Ryishmar to save Julia? Assuming Ryishmar is the villain, Tonny will do whatever he deems necessary to protect the circus and the world, even if it means sacrificing Julia’s life. I don’t agree with this, but i would understand (and can’t blame him) if he chooses to do this. As the saying goes, “some sacrifices are necessary.” But this could be the catalyst for Sahed. This could be what makes him choose Ryishmar’s side.

I want to believe that Sahed wouldn’t do something stupid like that, but i can’t forget he hates the Kalgratt people and with good reasons. He has the potential to become a villain and if i’m honest, i’m here for it. I think it would be interesting to see how this change in his character affects his relationship with Julia and what will she do about it.

Another aspect to consider is that Tonny made a promise to help Sahed, but what if he takes too long to deliver said promise and Ryishmar gets ahold of Sahed before that. All of these factors can bring Sahed to make an irrational decision.

Also, strangers to friends to enemis to lovers is my guilty pleasure! Anyway, these are crazy thoughts on it.

this is a post ranting and I'm pretty sure Im going to end up deleting it once I cool down but anyway today I read the last update of the webtoon Marionetta and there have been some changes that kinda pissed me off, not with the author or with the story but with people, in general because I'm inclined to believe the reason of these changes is that people, particularly people from USA I assume because there is illegal to drink alcohol until you're 21 and for those who didn't read the author messages the main protagonist was 18 years old and now that changed to 21 years to adapt to USA legal drinking laws and surely this must have started with people complaining to the author about it once they reached this episode in the fastpass episodes because the protagonists are drinking in a party with the circus.

Do not misunderstand, Im not going to insult anyone I just want to protest because I find it really unfair, I'm from the same European country as the author, I'm from Spain and here is completely legal to drink once you are 18, so I think is unfair because I'm pretty sure that absolutely no one in Spain would protest much if we seen in some webtoon some 16 years old teenagers driving which is completely illegal in our country because we are used to see it happening in a lot of American movies and shows but somehow we had to adapt a webtoon (that by the way Webtoon app is not American) age of drinking to USA standards as if USA was the center of the world and there were not other different laws in different countries, IT'S NOT FAIR.

In my opinion the ages should have remained as they are, is not like drinking alcohol is that terrible when you are dead people being kept alive by some magical forces anyway 🙄🙄🙄🙄🤦‍♀️

AAAAAAA I think that's the thirstiest thing he has said, he topped the "that's a cute outfit, you should't ruin it by wearing a blouse underneath" with that one. "Little wet dress" get out of here maaaaan!! so shameless!!! such a tease!! the more he likes her, the worse his comments get! and I LOVE him for that! and I know Julia loves it too!! She should have heard it!!! GAAAAH XD

Also, he definitely saw through that dress while it was wet😳😳😳 no one can change my mind on that.

Adding to this, Kalgratt is a fictional country based on Spain, more specifically, the years under Franco's dictatorship. Why couldn't the drinking age be the legal age since it's based in an European country and not in United States?? Also the double standard of Julia literally commiting a murder, but oh, "underage" drinking by US standards is going too far!! We can't show that!!!! 😒

Also, it makes so much more sense for the marriage age to be 20 because it feels more urgent. You have only two years of freedom as an adult before having to go and marry some dude for your duty as a kalgratti woman 💀. 23 is like ???? Why? It was obvious Miriam had everything already planned and was content with the ages she chose but webtoon had other plans :/

In my mind, they're still the age they were in the beginning because in my country the drinking age is also 18 so I have no problem with it whatsoever.

Spoiler episode 66

The way both Tonny and Eithra described Ryishmar made him seem like a morally grey character who may be power-hungry or prone to abuse power. Assuming that he might be an ah'kon, the combination of those two traits would be interesting.

Similar to hooky were, on one hand, the witches were being persecuted in the society and on the other, there were some witches that were actually causing harm to non-witches. Wouldn't it be nice if marionetta had such a level of complexity were, while the ah'kons are treated inhumanely, how exactly would they go about fighting for their freedom? Would they go too far, like the witches of hooky, would there be some individual ah'kons who would have ulterior power motives and guise them as a desire to seek freedom, how would it play out?
