Touchstarved modern AU!!!

I've finally finished something more complicatedd!!! And actually cooked!! Now I just have to keep this up! Xdd

I always struggle with the colors like what colors should I use? Or this color is pretty but isn't really the vibe- Or I just straight off oversaturate or make everything too grey xddd (plus point that my tablet shows different colors compared to my laptop💔)

noel prefers food that they can eat on the go, skewers (tanghulu peak), mini dumplings, and a wrap are their ideal diet hehe. no time to sit down and eat if their job keeps them on their feet

as for clothing~ they lean towards outfits that have them fully covered and don't restrict movement, noooo tight clothes. but they also love things that cinch in at their waist so maybe they're a hypocrite. their current outfit has all their favourites!! long skirt, sleeves that won't get in the way, and a semi-colourful palette

To the untrained eye, I feel like the art style from the game Hades and Touchstarved is super similar, except for the light blue edge that Touchstarved has. Is it just my eyes fooling me or are they actually pretty alike? I feel like I don’t know enough about art and drawing to be sure haha

iirc, the art team did mention that the Hades art style was a point of inspiration as they were developing Touchstarved's artistic direction!!

if we look at the two though, I'd say they're pretty distinct and are only joined together by the shared heavy blackwork and cell shading. the hades style has more colour variation when it comes to shading which, i think, reflects the more mythical nature of the game itself

touchstarved in comparison is a little more grounded in reality. where hades has multiple light sources and uses a lot of neons, touchstarved keeps to a light blue rim light and one dark purple shadow

they're both super lovely styles and are probably in the same family!!! i just know that the hades art direction would give me a run for my money if ever tried to replicate it
