Sharing my StEx AU with the world

Hey…! Guess who’s back in his starlight express obsession!! I never did much with this blog, but now I want to restart it, but I felt like it would be good to establish the AU it’s set in first.

Control loses their toy trains very often; in between couch cushions, in the back of the car, in pots and pans in the kitchen… When that happens, they usually buy a replacement without a second thought, despite usually finding the lost train within a week. Due to this, Control has a lot of trains, and usually uses their newer trains the most.

^ yes that’s my explanation for how all the trains from different productions coexist at once

This INCLUDES different VERSIONS of characters (example: Bochum!Rusty and Wembley!Rusty). The Wembley versions are affectionately crowned “Junior” by their older counterparts

Older trains often take on parental roles to the newer ones, whereas Momma, Poppa, and Belle Sr. are basically everyone’s grandparents :]

Bochum / Older Productions:

Rusty (Senior)

- Transmasc (he/him); pansexual, in a T4T relationship with his Pearl

- Rusty Jr’s adoptive dad :]

- The more confident, outspoken, brash one out of the two Rusty’s

Pearl (Senior)

- Transfem (she/her); heterosexual, in a T4T relationship with her Rusty

- Rusty Jr’s adoptive mom :]

- The more naive, well-intentioned, considerate one out of the two Pearl’s

Elektra (Senior)

- Genderfluid (he/they/any); bisexual, in a polyam open relationship with C.B. and Greaseball (Senior)

- Has twins with their partners !! (Dee-Dee & Ellie; ocs), and is an uncle figure to Greaseball Junior (definitely helped contribute to her competitive spirit)

- The more calm, collected Electra out of the two, but is also more flirty and snarky

Greaseball (Senior)

- Painfully cisgender (he/him), bisexual, in a polycule with C.B. and Elektra, dating Dinah outside of them

- Raises his twins with his boyfriends and his daughter (Greaseball Jr.) with his wife

- Started trying his best to be considerate after the race incident

Dinah (Senior)

- Demigirl (she/they), bisexual, married to Greaseball

- Auntie figure to the twins and the best mother she can be to Greaseball Jr.

- Much more of a people pleaser than Dinah Jr, will NOT stick up for herself
