I had been hearing a really good song on the radio but I never knew what the name of the song was. I sitting in the library coffee shop the other night (pretending to do homework) and one of my friends asked me if I had ever listened to 1957 by Milo Greene and said no and then looked them up. I realized that 1957 was the song that I kept hearing but didn't know the name of!

Studying

Currently ear training. By that I mean I'm in a corner of the school library listening to audio files and trying to learn how the diferent frequencies sound.

I got back to my dorm room after a night of hanging out with my friends and talking. I went to get something from under my bed and when I stood up I temporarily forgot that I was still under the loft and rammed my head into the metal frame. I then proceeded to fall to the floor and rock in pain. This is even more evidence of how clumsy and forgetful I am. Oh, well.

Wrecking Ball

She is hurt. Maybe if you truly read about what she is meaning by her music video you wouldn’t judge her. I had to respect until I saw how she was actually crying in the video. You know when you see true pain, or when you see bullshit. Because the true pain makes your throat sour and your eyes water. Don’t be so critical as to what she does and why she does it, because I have no clue. And neither do you.

-You're right, I have no idea what she's going through emotionally. All I know is her performance in her music video. You can definitely see pain, I just don't understand why she chose to express her message of pain by riding a wrecking ball naked. So as suggested I did a little research, the meaning of her being naked is that she is emotionally naked and hurt on the inside. The licking of the sledgehammer is supposed to represent that she secretly likes pain. I'm not being critical, I'm just stating that I'm confused and that the only explanation that I could come up with for this expression is that it's Miley expressing herself in a way that is completely Miley.

You're Partially Right

I really liked Miley Cyrus’s new song, wrecking ball. I had to so much hope for the music video. I clicked on the video and it opened with Miley singing and I was like this could be good. This could have meaning. Then the next thing I know she is licking a sledgehammer and then is completely naked and riding a wrecking ball. I don’t understand. I guess I should chalk it up to Miley being Miley.
