they're all late bloomer blank flanks

they hang out at the Everfree forest where they can be themselves and avoid the social pressure of not having found their life goals

Barry copes with drawing a fake phoenix cutie mark claiming it has something to do with courage and trying to impress ponies until it backfires

His actual cutie mark would have something to do with creative problem solving/divergent thinking because associative mind is his best canon trait imo

His palette kind of sucks but it looked worse in reverse and I tried to keep the OG colours, lil braid for a tail because I'm attached to that one photo of baby elders

Earth pony because it's funny his thoughts fly around but he still has a grounded personality (ALSO BEES NOW APPARENTLY)

Becomes a Canterlot guard

Beary Hooves

David cosplays his alicorn persona (Balthy)

He doesn't care so much about not having a cutie mark, just enjoys playing around with his friends

Eventually discovers his cutie mark is about unlocking the hearts of ponies around him (I mean look at him who wouldn't immediately love him)

Pony name would be Silver Mane

So you see, common ponies can become alicorns if they discover some new form of magic like I don't know hope which brings me to

Mark hides his flank with a cape and just generally avoids ponies

Wants to deconstruct how spells work and write his own

Is still totally a DM for D&D/F&F (foals and foes)

Couldn't come up with a pony name but since Mark is *technically* a noun he can keep his real one

Another hard to decide palette but I settled on this very saturated combination of his cape and skin colour for the mane

Whatever his cutie mark means it's just how he signs the cover of his diary/spell book

Very adamant about staying in the Everfree forest even when the other two want to leave to chase their dreams or even just to visit Kenneth in Canterlot

Kind of gave up on life until the others drag him out and give him hope that there's something out there for him
