It was hilariously juvenile knocking on Matthew’s basement bedroom window in the middle of the night like you were sixteen years old again, but unlike when you were sixteen, Matthew wasn’t waiting up for you. In fact, he was in a deep sleep before your incessant knocking ruined it, jarring him from his slumber and slightly pissing him off that you were bothering him.
