These are all of the paintings from my most recent show at @shelterinplacegallery. They were painted with watercolor and gouache on watercolor paper mounted to wood panels. Keep in mind that these are all miniatures! The smiling scale is the largest of the bunch at 7” H x 5” w x 1/4” D. I had so much fun making these, and you should expect to see a lot more small works on paper from me. Covid project gone way too far... learning how to make surfboards. Pictured is my trusty Hitachi that I’ve modified, some shaping and glassing racks that Nate welded up for me with the mango rusto safety tips thanks to Kevin, plus some inspiration from the Cadillac Kid. I have been taking my time with it, doing research and gathering materials and learning as much as I can about this craft.
