There is Morea or giant eel in the pond Wisaleka, Waai village. Wiselaka famous for its clear water and the habitat of giant eel or Morea. Karapan Sapi is a cow racing from Madura, East Java. Among Madurese, this tournament is not just people’s party or yearly event inherited hereditarily but it is a prestigious symbol that lifts up the region as well as people’s dignity and status. Therefore, the racing cows are definitely special treated and good ones. Madura Island is not only a place well known as salt production but also good quality of racing cows. Sometimes, the owner prepares the racing cows by giving special massages and feed them with at least 80 eggs every day in order to have good power and stamina. Moreover, the special treatment can be seen from how several Madurese put their cows in garages that are supposed to be for cars or any other vehicles. It can be understood since any cow that could win the race will be estimated around 75 million rupiah for each. The cow’s speed is surely very fast due to the jockey’s shrewdness. Sometimes, the using bamboo stepped on by the jockey floating in the air because cow reaches the rapid speed. To increase and obtain the maximum speed, the base of the cows’ tail is fitted with a belt full of sharp spikes then the jockey flicked his sharp torn whip to the cow’s rump. Of course, it will make the cows run faster and some sore around the rump as well. After playing the race, the cows take a break in a couple of times to heal the wound. Therefore, more than twice up to three times of racing, the cow is no longer can be permitted to follow the event. ( discover indonesia) (at Bangkalan, Madura)
