Learning about boxing and kickboxing goes beyond techniques used in the ring and on the heavy bag, it can be applied to everyday life. Coach Jeff Grady and Coach Jeff Tant will show you how to apply what you have learned in class to real world situations. Basic self-defense techniques taught are being more aware of your surroundings, rolling an attacker off, hand-to-hand defense, and building confidence in an uncomfortable situation.

Coach Jeff Grady studies Muay Thai and fought competitively in Thailand and in the USA. Along with being one of our talented kickboxing instructors, he also trains over 20 of Charleston’s professional and armature fighters in Muay Thai and mixed martial arts. As a professionally trained fighter, Coach Grady is one of the best to learn self-defense from.

Coach Jeff Tant has studied mixed martial arts and boxing for over 7 years. He is an experienced cage fighter and is currently an active fighter. Coach Tant is our Assistant GM and Head Trainer and has been helping people build self confidence for over 11 years. With his fighting experience and ability to help with improve your self-confidence, Coach Tant can improve you response time in stressful situations.

A key to success in weight loss is accountability. As a part of the TITLE family, we want to help you be more accountable and aware of your progress. At the beginning of each month we will hold accountability testing. Testing will consist of different exercises and you will have one minute to complete as many of each exercise as you can. We will also help you track how many Power Hour rounds you complete each month. Exercises include push-ups, sit-ups, squats, lunges, plank hold, punches and kicks. Each month we will test you and track your progress.

The goal is to increase your stamina, strength, endurance, flexibility and work capacity. Simply put, the more work you can complete in a shorter amount of time will prove your fitness level is increasing. Goals are reach through perseverance and dedication, let us be your motivation.
