something not really addressed but seems to be implied(?) is that during training and when they first started in the SC as illustrated by WIT they didn't yet have their goggles they wear. then they start wearing goggles by 844, so i suppose it's something of their own invention after some time? anyway, in hansi's section is a solider apparently named abel who also wears goggles with straps exactly like hansi's. i think that hansi might have created this for everyone, so any soldier who usually wears glasses could get goggles like hansi's if they want. i like the idea of hansi enthusiastically telling new recruits who they see also wear glasses about these amazing goggles they have.

anyway, i thought for a moment about something similar with binding, but i have mixed feelings about it because i can't bind usually and hansi shouldn't be able to either. still, fuck it, SC binder of hansi's invention
