INSURANCE  alias  RISK MANAGEMENT 

Its very true to say , that insurance in other words is risk management. The risk occurs with a factor called uncertainty.. Now let us  elaborate uncertainty!  We are uncertain about our income; will it rise or we will face downfall in our profession, business or job. Second but a crucial culprit is HEALTH; how will we maintain our expenses if we fall prey to unexpected illness , topped up with expensive HOSPITALISATION  ? Hereafter comes EDUCATION AND CAREER PROSPECTS of our children. Not only this , the assets we maintain for sustaining our lifestyle , HOME , CAR, TRAVEL ; all  are to be safe from the risk.

 So , taking into consideration the above-mentioned things , you can get all of them insured… Oh !  I just skipped the other miniature but actually big issues to be insured , like a BUILDING WHICH IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION , if due to any mishap they suffer ! Its just simple , they feel themselves confined to this arena only,, You won’t believe me, being a lady,  I was expecting my friend to discuss about an insurance policy , but she plainly said “ I am going to brew coffee ☕  for you , just wait for my hubby to discuss with u  darling ! “ I was taken aback, so countered her , “ why not you  also sit and listen ? “  She was indifferent , saying , “ Don’t push me in this matter, I am a fantastic person if you sell me cosmetics, but i’ll run away if the cat 🙀 of  investment confronts me..”  Anyways , explaining the whole thing to her husband , I cracked the deal and he gave me an account payee cheque ,saying proudly ,” Mam , you are a pioneer (first comer) in this taxing field of insurance, just let ur friend be friendly to these issues , so that next time she should sign the cheque to give u! If she can decide the school of her kids, she is equally capable of investing in their career plans and mediclaims too.”

On Mother's Day

According to me ,

Motherhood is

...A visit to infinity,

An expectation of perfectness,

A course to be implemented without attaining its Degree !

An arena , where your surroundings and natives expect a mother to do what they feel is correct!

..and Last but Not the Least...

Its a universe for a Mother , who has fenced her area, barring anyone (stray thoughts n people),

To create a diffrent n awesome Sky for her kids ,where she dreams of them , flying with their own wings of perseverance and talent...Because she knows them since their existence in her Womb.."

Just wrote on Mother's Day morning, but with collections n observation of yesteryears.

Galaxy of My Gall Bladder

Few months back, (so get ready to slide down to the lanes of 😊flashback,) post -covid era , the society , world over, was busy getting corona vaccine n subsequently undergoing its aftermath; internal body uprooting, digestion or heart issues. I also underwent an anatomy upset , my digestive system got the sword to smash me !..I had three episodes of persistent vomiting and diarrhoea ; the first two were symptoms of food poisoning; but as my hubby recalled that under dieting regime, i was eating at home..n that to restricted food in small amounts. But the third episode saw me crying bitterly with pain like a toddler..! Shooting pain ,sleepless night n unability to lie on my back...were the villians which made me sob badly.. So morning 🌅 saw me in a gastro - clinic n the ultrasound revealed the mystery,I mentioned in the title; "Galaxy of Multiple Stones in my Gall Bladder".

Ya ,the doc took off the curtain from the scene, and explained that this beauty of wonderful stars is obstructing my system , hence must be removed by surgery only. What on earth could be the damn reason of this " stone conspiracy "? How n why r they reigning in dynasty of my innocent stomach ! .

Staring at my medicines , i forced myself to think about my deeds till date! (Not the karma of doing ill of others, but foody deeds , my readers! 😊)..Well , I recollected that our ancestors say , " Karma is supreme, it pays back." So again , I started to travel the memory lane of my past foodie extravaganzas.Panipuri, tikki , samosas and kachoris were the magnets which attracted my taste buds if i were in a marketplace for shopping..Going to market , and not having any of them , was like going to temple and not bowing in front of God. Not mentioning hot coffee, lemonade ,panipuri water in generous amounts would be injustice, they are also the participants in the Stone Conspiracy. Lip smacking deep- fried kachori with aloo sabzi was fascinating thing , but for me only. My hubby is not supportive of fried food in generous amounts, he is brought up fruit , juices,dairy products, non-vegetarian ( home made) n green veggies. Replica to me also, i also love these , deep- fried snacks I forget in covid era ..But mouth gets watered at the sight of plates ornamented with dhoklas,samosas, their respective chutneys, and a piping hot cup of tea..

Coming back to present day scenario, an affectionate stare at them, that too , 'bidding good-bye ' type of looks , gives a sigh of relief . So , let me get back to feet after " Galaxy -removal surgery' , i wud focus on the fatty liver noticed by the ultrasonographer doctor, she was a critic! .Asking " Don't mind mam, do you consume whisky? ".

I accused the damn organ , whats up there ? Believe me , I was shocked down to my spine. She knocked me out ,saying, " Don't be surprised , punjabis are expected to have ! " (She concluded it from my surname ).

I told her that the innocent is being jailed ( whisky ,which I don't consume) , but the culprit is roaming free( buttery n oily food)..Although, I was far away since two years , from my loved ones, ( kachori, samosas, chole bhature...) ..I just prayed for renewal of my inner system and coming back to normalcy with a good diet system. Heartfelt😊 thanks to my husband , who has been a caring soulmate for his careless but sweet , food- loving ( now carefully eating ) wife! ...
