I posted the photo on Reddit, originally. The interwebs are fabulously infinite. I had no idea you were on Gilmore Girls (I may have just googled you). That's awesome. I'm currently getting my master's in opera performance. Any advice for a soon-to-be-starving artist?

You’ll always be starving, in one manner or another, when you’re an artist.  Regardless your success.  Don’t let it make you miserable.  You need the breadth of experience in life in order to have something to offer.  Let your jealousies become something else or, they alone, will ruin your love for things.  Fall in love as often as you can.  Learn to make fried rice.  Sing in the car even when you know someone’s watching.  Network and be kind.  No one else knows a goddamn thing about what it is to be you - that is the strength everyone abandons first.  Always always always be yourself.

Hi Robyn and Adam! Robyn, I've loved and continue to love your expressive dancing, both on-stage and in your music videos. It's quite cathartic for me to dance a long with you to 'Call Your Girlfriend' and 'Dancing On My Own'; they're so well done. Do you have any favorite choreographers or music video dance routines? This question is for Adam too, as I'm sure no one can forget those sick moves in 'This Is Not About Us'! -Myron

Robyn: Thank you Kermit3000. One of most inspiring moments of dancing on film is to me the beginning of the movie “Do the right thing” where Rosie Perez dances to Public enemy in boxing gloves and total dedication. I think he must have choreographed it herself. I also love the live recording of Love bizarre from the Sheila E tour, Prince comes on stage and because it´s not his own show it´s like he´s giving some extra playfulness that is amazing and super inspiring to watch.

What are your all time favourite music videos? Are there any that stand out from your childhood?

my all time favourite music videos are probably the early Spike Jonze and Michel Gondry stuff for Daft Punk and some others. Also, I love pretty much every Beastie Boys’ video & all the Hype Williams classics with Missy, Busta & Biggie. oh, and the video for Just by Radiohead—that used to really disturb me.

How long did it take to shoot the video? :)

it took just one day to shoot the video. Bruno & Cameron co-directed. and most of the time, i just had fun watching Bruno & the band film all the performance shots. i’m not much of a dancer
