Burj Khalifa, Dubai, UAE
The Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the world’s tallest skyscraper ever made to date. It was completed in 2010 with seven acres of parkland and 163 floors. The Burj Khalifa represents the initiative of the UAE government to transform he economy of the place from being solely oil-based to more of tourism centric economy.

Shanghai Tower, Shanghai, China
Shanghai Tower is the second tallest building in the world which was completed in 2015 and took over eight years to build. This building is made up of nice cylindrical buildings stacked up over each other like Legos. Shanghai Tower offers a 360 view of the entire district for the visitors and hosts 320 hotel rools in its facility.

Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel, Mecca, Saudi Arabia
Also known as Abraj Al-Bait Towers is a government-owned building which represents the culture and society of Saudi Arabia. Located only a few hundred meters away from the Masjid al-Haram, the most sacred place in Islam, the Makkah Royal Clock Tower Hotel is an initiative for providing accommodation to the pilgrims. It hosts residential apartments, 5 story shopping malls, a museum, and a lunar observation center.

Ping An International Finance Centre, Shenzhen, China
This building is the second largest skyscraper in the world which was completed in 2017. It is the fourth largest building in the entire world. It was initially designed to be the tallest building in China, but changes in the plan were made to prevent interrupting the flight paths. This building has 115 stories and has the head quarters for Ping An Insurance, hotel rooms, offices, and retail spaces in a high-end shopping mall.

Lotte World Tower, Seoul, Sourth Korea
It is a 123 story tall skyscraper which is located near Seoul’s Han River next to the 1989’s Lotte World Complex which contains a theme park, movie theaters and a shopping mall. The building hosts retail outlets, residences, a luxury hotel, private office spaces, and a huge observation deck on the top to provide a complete view of the Han River and the entire Sincheon-dong neighborhood.

One World Trade Center
The One World Trade Center in lower Manhattan, NYC, is the tallest building in the USA at present and has big significance. It was designed for after the aftermath of 9/11 to make a statement. It is the centerpiece of New York skyline with 104 floors which includes offices, restaurants, broadcast and antennae facilities. It also has the National September 11 Memorial & Museum for the events of 9/11, and the redesigned World Trade Center Transportaion Hub.
