There'll be a moment when you realise you're 27 when yesterday you were just 17; and you wouldn't be able to tell how a decade passed away and your life got divided into before and afters. The fury of youth will subdue and nothing will really change but everything will feel different when you look at old photographs and blurry videos taken on cheap mobile phones. Scents will remind you of childhood and certain friends you don't talk to anymore, hangouts will become reunions and mom's burnt pie will become the best food you ever had. And I know on some days you won't be able to show anything of those 10 years but I hope you remember to breathe, and let go of the knot in your chest. I hope you go out in the sun and live a little, because tomorrow is 37.

Dating/Living with a witch consists of:

Them always smelling like sage/various herbs

“My tarot says you’re a dumbass”

“looK AT MY NEW CRYSTAL”

“Don’t touch that please, it’s charging”- regarding crystals etc perched on numerous windowsills

“I made this spell jar for you” x100

Crystals being stored in their pockets/bra/bags

Them doodling sigils on your class work etc.

Annointing you and your things with various oils

Them muttering intentions all day long as they do mundane things

Candles, s o m a n y candles

“Do you wanna come with me to leave this offering for the fae?”

“I love you but we can’t go out tonight it’s a full moon and I need to recharge like everything”

The usual breakfast question of: “Can I have your eggshells?”

“What do you want for yoru birthday?” “Plants and/or crystals.”

Banging of pots and pans and burning of cleansing herbs as they shriek at a stubborn spirit

Way too many books on the craft

Something is always burning

“N o don’t blow it out! the disrespect. use this.”

You: *picks up penny you found*

Them: *smacks it out of your hand* “don’t accept gifts from the fae!”

Having to listen to constant praise and admiration of the moon

Art does not belong to me!!!

If you’re in the broom closet and/or can’t afford crystals, books, or other tools of the craft, your practice is still valid and you’re still a witch! ♥️♥️♥️

Easy Witch Tips: Moon Water Edition

Are you in the broom closet?

Are you tired as fuck?

Are you lazy and don't wanna do the things?

Me too. Which one? Take some educated guesses (All three. I'm all three. Don't judge me-)

What to do with Moon Water when You Simply Can't:

Brew coffee/tea

Make ice cubes out of it

Wash your hands/hair/face

Water your plants

Keep a pitcher of it and drink a cup every morning

Make moon water from sparkling water and infuse it with fruits that help you focus/love yourself/energize you/etc

Use it to paint

Rinse your makeup brushes with it after washing them

Put it in your pet's water dishes

Make a cleansing room spray

Literally just do stuff. Replace normal water with moon water. Splash it on your face, throw some into your washer, or your bath. Just d o s t u f f. Witchcraft doesn't have to be just Spell Jar, Tarot, Full Spell Casting. Nothing is stopping you from just dousing yourself in moon water to help you get reset.
