forgiving yourself is the hardest step you can take in recovery, but once you do, everything else comes easier. you don't need to forgive everyone else, you don't need everyone else to forgive you; it's hard, but the most important person holding the grudge for all that you've done in your past is you.

you were young.

you learned better.

you grew.

you don't scold a flower for needing extra water on dry days. you won't hate yourself forever. it's hard to believe, but one day, you'll look back with love for how naïve you were, and wish you could hold yourself tight and whisper, "i'm sorry for taking so long. i love you."

Random OC fact: My OC is a big crybaby. A really sensitive sort who always empathizes with others a bit. See a cute baby? Sobbing. A hug between friends who made up after a fight? Tears everywhere. ❤️

time, in contrast, is hard to make cry- incredibly so, to the point one may wonder if he can cry! typically, he shows sorrow by burying himself in work instead- though that’s... his reaction to most emotions, all things considered. however, he does often find it interesting some can cry so easily...

Please read this if you follow any of my (pandrena / chris ) art projects.

My tablet monitor has broken. I cannot draw digitally. My dad offered to buy me a new one for my birthday, but that won’t be until January. And I don’t want to burden my parents anymore financially than I have - but I cannot afford a new tablet.

Drawing is one of my only hobbies and stress reliefs amongst a really stressful family life. While yes, I can draw traditionally, please understand I’m not fond of it. But I can’t work on Crop haven nor Panda Pearl like this. And the realization I can’t draw the way I’m most familiar and comfortable with is hitting me really really hard and I’m trying not to cry as I type this.

That’s why i’m making this donation post. I won’t make this into a sob story, and please don’t feel pressured to donate if you cannot, but. If you can spare anything towards me getting a new tablet, I will literally be in your debt.

 If you leave a drawing request with your donation I can draw you a traditional doodle, but please know it won’t be the best quality and that my phone camera stinks.
