i think dirkjohn works really well because they both have a strong need for connection. that's the main reason why dirkjake didn't work out, they had different needs (Dirk needing to be constantly with someone, while Jake needing a majority of his time alone). Although I could see it becoming a bit overbearing, Dirk and John would be very reliant on each other. so my hypothesis is that dirkjohn is great as long as they go to a couples therapist. 👍
