Who the fuck decided to spread the lie that the dateables abandon the player when they are realised? I am realising them and there is so much love in every ending. Do people seriously think that just because they don't live with them that means they abandon them??? Like almost every ending says that they keep in touch in some way.

One of my favourite ship dynamics is when the relationship is very obviously unhealthy, but the characters are too into it to care. Good when they treat their unhealthiness as foreplay, but even better when it is just treated as something that happens and everything else is rather soft and sweet.
Example:
Character 1: Holy fuck you should have no idea where I am
Character 2: I put a tracker on you while you were sleeping and then followed you
Character 1, smitten: You care that much?

If Date Everything makes another DLC, I would give my firstborn for it to be a matchmaking DLC. Just give me more storylines where I have the choice to hook characters up with each other and I will be in love.

Back for seconds mwahahaha
This one is a platonic idea but still Eddie and Volt
Reader who frequently comes to the Breaker Box to preform (singing accompanied by instruments of a limited variety). But here's the thing, their energy matches both of them. When not preforming they match Eddie's energy most, being low on social battery, having a very 'I hate everyone' vibe to them yk. But on stage they switch to Volt's energy. Openly interacting with the crowd, involving the patrons sometimes in the chorus and just in general being quite lively. And it's kinda like a light switch (hehe) for them, it turns up and down.
Another delightful request done! Hopefully this is platonic enough, I realise I write platonic and romantic relationships pretty much the same when established.
-
Eddie looked over the list of entertainers for the evening. "Livewire is playing again?" he asked as Volt passed by.
"They are! What a delight we will be blessed with. This is the first time this week they're going on stage." Volt paused by the bar to continue the conversation. "Last week was so hectic, they must have been so drained."
Both could remember the fallback from their last performance, when they had gotten on stage every day of the week. The moment they stepped off of stage and out of the other patron's sights they had snapped at Eddie when he got too close. They didn't even stay until after hours like they normally did, just left with an almost scream. The next day there was an apology basket with some sweets (which Eddie was sure were actually made by Stefan) on the bar. An apology was accepted even if their Livewire hadn't shown up since.
"At least they know they can show up again. I still remember the first time they performed," Eddie noted. He smiled as Volt looked away bashfully.
"It was a simple mistake!" Volt argued.
The first time their Livewire performed hadn't left either of their minds. The Breaker Box was still having its issues back then, and they hadn't grown to accept just how dear a friend they were to them yet. It was a shock when they asked how to sign up to perform. They were typically grumpy, and quiet, so asking to go on stage was the last thing they expected. Volt had given them the information, but had tried to gently ask questions which went unanswered with a stare.
By the time it came around for them to perform, both Eddie and Volt were intrigued, even if Eddie claimed he was just watching to make sure they didn't break anything. Their intrigue only grew when they saw their Livewire step up on stage, a large smile on their face and guitar in hand. It was hard to believe this is the same Livewire that always had a frown on their face and spoke in quiet, tough sentences.
"Hello! You will know me as Y/N, the owner of this house. Thank you for having me!" They held up their guitar, ready to strum. "I would have preferred to have my own song written, but I have decided to start off slow. You will know this song, so feel free to sing along!" With that, they started their song and thoroughly captivated the audience, truly getting a few people singing along.
"What have you been teaching them?" Eddie asked as he leaned over  to whisper in Volt's ear.
"I haven't taught them a thing. This is all wiring beneath the switch," Volt answered with a smile. He had far higher hopes for their Livewire than Eddie did.
After what felt like not enough time, the song ended and their Livewire took a low bow. "Thank you! Thank you! I'll be here again another night!" They stepped down and Volt took their place so that he could announce the next performer.
Volt was busy, but Eddie immediately noticed the change in demeanour. Their smile fell and they more stomped over to the bar than walked. They slumped over the bar as they sat down.
"I didn't realise you could sing," Eddie spoke awkwardly. Was this how others felt when he shut everyone out?
Their Livewire glared at him behind their arms. "I never gave you a reason to not," they hissed. Shit, it would have made more sense for their Livewire to be the person he split into existence, not Volt. Never before had he had his behaviour thrown back at him.
“Never gave me a reason to either,” he argued back. Their Livewire was always so pushy with him, so if they were going to give him his own behaviour, he could do the same.
They pulled their face from their arms fully now. “Didn’t realise you could be funny,” they hissed once again. The conversation didn’t have much of a chance to develop further, as Volt soon joined their side.
“Livewire,” he spoke in a strained voice. “You’re tired. You should go to sleep.” Leave now was hidden beneath the words. Looking back, Eddie laughed at the behaviour. Always so protective of Eddie but if anyone dared act like him he couldn’t handle it. It was good for Volt to eventually accept that their Livewire was just as right to act that way as Eddie was.
It was a strangely good memory for Eddie. He went to tease Volt about how quickly he had wanted to ban their Livewire before he learned to care for them as he did with Eddie, but the door of the bar opened and their Livewire walked on in.
“Hi,” they grumbled as they joined the two at the bar.
Eddie mimicked their greeting and Volt gave his usual. “Livewire! How great of you to join us again. Last week was too much I assume?”
Their Livewire groaned. “Don’t remind me. Never again am I performing every day for a week.”
“We never asked you to,” Eddie noted.
“And I never asked for your sass, but we can’t all make the right decisions,” they argued right back.
“Now, now, it is almost performing time, and neither of you want to be grumpy when it happens,” Volt intruded. It was good to have someone who knew how to talk to people when the grumpier of the three began to argue, however much they cared for each other.
Their Livewire stared at the stage. “I can introduce myself. I have some ideas, so both of you can just stay here.” Months ago, when this all started, Volt would have never allowed someone to take his job of introducing the performers, but at this point their Livewire was basically an employee they didn’t pay (not that the Breaker Box had an income).
“I’ll be excited to see what you can do,” Volt answered, and their Livewire began to move towards the stage. They would never get used to seeing how their Livewire switched on stage. Just before they entered other’s views, everything changed. Their walk, their smile, the way they carried themself. They introduced themself again in a way that felt like a whole new person from who was sitting at the bar.
“Perhaps calling them a livewire wasn’t the correct choice on my part,” Volt spoke as their Livewire started their song, cheery as they always were on stage. “A lightswitch would be more accurate.”
“They really complete us, don’t they?” Eddie murmured. In another life, perhaps he would have split himself into three. Wires, electricity, and the switch of it all. They certainly meshed well enough with them, devoting themself to this club like it was their object they shared.
Volt laughed at Eddie’s words. “They can’t be our middle ground if you also become the sappy one,” he teased. He leaned over to Eddie a bit more, and they watched their Livewire in all their talent and glory. “But they have been talking about getting us realised soon. Perhaps once human, we can think about including them on a new club’s lease?”
Their Livewire was their dearest friend, and while they still didn’t entirely understand why they switched between two personas, Eddie for once didn’t want to argue. Their Livewire wouldn’t get rid of them that easily. They weren’t switching up on them.

Been thinking about this for a while so
Eddie and Volt with a reader who has went to medschool pre-dateviators and thus in present knows their way around medical stuff. And now while they are unemployed and haven't settled into the medical field they spend their time educating the objects and taking care of any injuries they might have (pretend for a second that's how it works). One very frequent victim of this is Eddie (and by extension Volt everytime he has an accident or just pretends to be hurt so their live wire will treat him too) who is almost always bruised up because of maintenace work.
He can protest all he wants but he's gonna get treated
Oh this was a delight to write! Hopefully this is vaguely what you wanted.
First request down, and hopefully I get many more! Remember that if you have an idea, simply send me and ask! I am willing to do almost anything.
-
Y/N had deemed their education almost useless. It seemed like such a good idea years ago, when hospitals were hiring. These days? Not so much. Despite their inability to get a job in their chosen field, they refused to believe they got all that debt for nothing. Luckily, they were now surrounded by people who were constantly getting injuries. They should not have been so delighted to find out that the use of the dateviators took the object plane close enough to their own that they could now sustain injuries, but they were a bit.
"Eddie! Volt! Sorry I couldn't pop in tonight!" They called as they stepped inside the Breaker Box. They had spent far too long with Farya trying to figure out what injured Wallace (Shelley had accidently punched him) and missed the opening hours of the club. Luckily, they could pop in at any time.
"Volt's in the back," Eddie answered as he saw Y/N come into view. He was peaking out of the door to one of the closet's many closets. "He's trying to find some bandages." Those words stopped them in their tracks. Bandages?
"Is he hurt?" they asked. Who knows how long he had been hurt for if it were true. He was always so willing to brush off everything for the club. "Where exactly is he? I can help."
Eddie's face fell at their words. "No, he's fine. It's just some general stuff." Y/N narrowed their eyes at his response. Eddie wasn't the type to lie when Volt needed help, but the same wasn't true for himself.
"As one of the house's resident doctors, I'm gonna ask you to show yourself to me." Eddie was still halfway into a door, and it was now obvious that it was on purpose.
Eddie pretended to search for a clock. "It's getting late. Volt wouldn't be happy if I kept our Livewire up, so why don't you go to bed?"
Y/N crossed their arms, firm in their stance. "Must I get Volt to explain the situation to me? You know he won't spare a single detail."
Eddie grimaced for a few moments before sighing. "What did I do to deserve this?" he asked no one in particular as he stepped out. Y/N frowned as they saw the giant cut on his arm. It was leaking slightly, and surrounded by smeared blood.
Y/N walked towards Eddie, grasping his good arm and pulling him over to the couches in the VIP area. Eddie pulled back a little, but Y/N managed to get him to half lie down on one of them. "How did this happen?" they asked as they gently picked up his arm, pulling back his sleeve further and investigated the cut.
"Still getting used to not feeling like I'm about to break, and I wasn't paying attention fully and knocked a bottle down. Broke on the shelf beneath and scratched me up." Eddie spoke in quick statements, trying to gently pull his arm back from their grasp. "Cleaned up the mess, but I have no idea how to help with the cut. This whole human blood thing is really confusing. I can't believe you willingly wanted to see this every day."
"And I can't believe you willingly want to be around drunks every day, but we all make sacrifices for our passions." Luckily the cut couldn't have happened more than ten minutes ago, so he wasn't at risk of his cut getting infected.
Luckily, Volt decided to finally enter the main room. He held some bandage in his hands and had a worried look on his face that retreated slightly the moment he realised he and Eddie were no longer alone, and had a qualified doctor at hand. "Livewire! Just in time. Our Eddie is hurt, and as much as I wish to help, I have nowhere near the knowledge you would have." He sat down next to Y/N and handed them the bandage.
"You can just give it to me, I can figure it out," Eddie argued. Even if Y/N was planning to argue back, it was still two against one.
"I will help you. This isn't something you get a say in. As the owner of this house, it is my job to help you." Eddie's expression softened just a little. Had Y/N not learned to read his frowns, they would have thought he was upset at them. "Volt, I need a wet cloth. Can you get me one?"
Volt, despite only having just sat down, got up again immediately to go fetch what they asked for. In the mean time, Y/N reached into their bag and got some disinfectant spray. Eddie tilted his head at the strange bottle. "I'll explain once Volt is here. As a business that deals with people, you should both learn how to deal with injuries. Most businesses in the human world require someone to know first aid."
"It would be better to just explain to me so I could do it on my own," Eddie argued. It was a good thing that Y/N had long learned that Eddie needed a little push to accept any kind of help.
"It's best if I show you. I was trained for this." Plus he needed to get better at accepting help.
Eddie didn't have time to argue as Volt was back with a wet cloth. Y/N took it and began to clean Eddie's arm, washing away all the smeared blood. Once it was sufficiently cleaned, they placed it down and grabbed the disinfectant spray. "This will help make sure the cut doesn't get infected. Even when covered, bacteria can still get inside." The two listened closely. Y/N began to spray the cut, careful when Eddie flinched at the sting, and carefully moved on. "People often call this the most unpleasant part, but it's needed."
"Would have been nice if you warned me," Eddie hissed as the disinfectant hit his cut.
"Then you would have just complained more," Volt stated. He leaned closer into Y/N, pressed against their side so he could rub Eddie's thigh in an attempt to soothe him. This way by far the strangest interaction with a patient Y/N had ever had.
"Don't worry, it's over now," they spoke as they put the disinfectant on the table. They took the bandage into hand. "This is the easy part as long as you stay still."
For once, Eddie listened without argument. Silence filled the room as they wound the bandage around Eddie's arm, and only changed once it was pinned in place. "Is that it?" Eddie asked.
"For now," Y/N answered back. "I might need to change it again depending on how long it takes to heal, but it should be fine." Eddie relaxed at that. Poor guy really does struggle getting help.
"I think you're wrong," Volt answered after hearing their explanation. Y/N was met with a grin when they turned to face him. "You forgot to kiss it better."
Y/N snorted at the words. "Oh, how could I forget that? Most important thing I learned in medical school." They turned back to Eddie, who had a flush on his cheeks. "Just one last step," they spoke before leaning down and kissing the bandage that was between their lips and the cut.
"See? Eddie must feel so much better now," Volt teased.
"Is that a part of first aid I will need to replicate?" Eddie asked with a blank voice. Despite that, he was still blushing.
"Just for Volt and I," Y/N answered.
Eddie moved to start getting up, but soon Volt wasn't at their side and was laying across Y/N's lap, with his head in Eddie's. "Oh Livewire, while you are here, you must help with my injuries."
Y/N raised a brow and looked at Eddie, who rolled his eyes. "Oh, and where are you hurt?" they teased.
Volt grinned. "Everywhere. I fear I may need the both of you to help kiss me better."
Y/N chuckled at the words and looked back at Eddie. "I was a good teacher, wasn't I? Think you're ready to help?"
Eddie had a small smile on his face. "If it's what I need to properly run this business."
Luckily, Volt was a much more enthusiastic patient than Eddie.

Date everything writing requests
I am trying to get this account going, so if you are in the Date Everything Fandom feel free to send me an ask with a request for a fic.
It will be relatively short so hopefully I can get them out quickly, and can be about almost anything you want. I do my best with romance (Character X Character and Character X reader are both allowed), but I can do anything. Smut is even allowed if you would like to ask an asexual to try.
Only things I won't do is gore, rape, and suicide.

Introduction!
I'm gonna try and post more over here so here is a little introduction!
I go by Ren/Hera, and I am 18. I am Australian and go by any pronouns, although I have a preference for he/him and get a bit confused when people use multiple kinds in the same sentence. I am an aroace agender lesbian and I am damn proud of that.
I've been writing fanfiction for seven years now, mostly about minecraft, Greek myth and visual novels, although I will write about anything.
My current interests are Greek Myth and Date Everything!
My ao3 is Tiloopadoo as well, where I post relatively consistently, even if each fic isn't consistently updated.
I take date everything fanfic requests!
That should be all!

There is very little that phases me, so I went into Doug's route thinking the warnings weren't gonna apply to me, but holy shit he hit me in ways I didn't expect. This guy sounds just like my ex, and happens to have an ex named Hope? The name my ex was obsessed with?
I finally understand what people mean when they say they just can't date some of the dateables because they reminded them of people they know, which sucks since I love characters who suck as people and was really looking forward to Doug.

My friend has taken up calling Jerry 'Tetanus' and really likes thinking about Penelope and Jerry together. The issue arises when he says things like 'Penelope and Tetanus' because I am also in the epic Fandom, and I have heard people refer to Telemachus as Tetanus before so I keep thinking I am about to hear about Greek Myth when in reality I am hearing about date everything. These two Fandoms are nightmares.

The fact that such a constant theme in the Iliad being that they need to fight to find the glory that will keep them being remembered is directly fought against with the modern audience remembering three of its most famous men (Meneleus, Odysseus, and Achilles) for the love they held is such an interesting and poetic thing. Perhaps a few people lose the plot of the story with it, but the futility of the belief they hold in their story is so interesting in today's interests.

Talking with my friend who isn't really in the Date Everything Fandom but loves when I liveblog games is amazing because they are out here shipping characters I would have never even thought. Like what do you mean I could have lived my life not knowing about the beauty that is Keyes x Jean Loo? Now I simply have to accept that I am going to be obsessed with these two.
