i LOVE Sumeru.

couple days before its release my excitement died down to "well I'll just get the characters I like and explore the new region, nothing else", similar to Inazuma

boy. nah. Sumeru is one of the better locations out there. the greenery, the mechanics, THE CITIES??? i don't get excited for architecture; Sumeru beat me up and made me excited. the story is A M A Z I N G i don't care how long it took, i was hooked and i crave more, Right Now Please. they really outdid themselves. also, music? i can't help but sing along, one of the tracks was stuck in my head for daaaays.

i think character designs are actually less profound than everything else (i really love them but they're like, expected?). and Aranara quests are too long for my liking. but those two things are not negative, they're at most neutral?

i have nothing bad to say about Sumeru as of yet. oh my gosh.
