hey guys I feel like my last poll really wasn't as inclusive as I wanted it to be, so I thought i would redo it to try to include others!! :D sorry again if anyone didn't feel included, that's never my intention and always let me know if you want more inclusion because that's always what I strive for on this blog!!

normally I don't care for sports but like I'm sorry I think that halftime show was awesome and Kendrick's whole performance (past the Drake stuff) was extra fucking powerful in my opinion

having Samuel L Jackson play uncle Sam, representing America, telling black folks we're "too loud, too ghetto, etc" which represents our systemic oppression, was just so good....

white racist calling the halftime show horrible is even better. i love black people and being black

An ex-colleague of mine was complaining to me the other day about the ai problem in her students' papers, and I told her, "Just make your students hand-write them in class. Easy." She looked at me like I was insane and tried to explain how that would never work, but I just said,"That's how we did it for a thousand years. The invention of word processors doesn't erase all that."

To me it seems obvious. Readings are done out of class, handwritten essays are done within it. No more ai papers.

Speaking of the Super Bowl, this is a screen shot of a video ESPN posted (the commentary text on the video is theirs) and I find it *fascinating* that the official video of the show didn't show this angle.

So most folks at home didn't see the shadow being cast on the ground, which is a very classic "hangman" from tarot. Although, I'd assume we're supposed to think of other hanging men when we see this. Strange fruit, if you will.

If you can give one advice to the world, what would it be?

Something like "It's a good thing to help others, even if you don't get anything back but fuzzy feelings". I know people like to make reasons such as "I'm not a good person because I like helping people because it makes me feel good" but honestly, what matters is the helping, not necessarily the why. I'm sure someone can phrase it better than me
