One of the worst feelings in the world: when you are just desperate, like claw-your-own-skin-off desperate, to create, but the only thing that even vaguely appeals to you to work on is a nebulous half-feeling that might be dreamily related to some half-formed notion of a concept. I must! Make! No thing! Only make!

Ok it's very funny to laugh at Tuxedo Mask for showing up and doing nothing, but his job was never to actually fight the monsters.
His job was just to show up and believe in Sailor Moon so overwhelmingly resolutely that she remembers she's a fucking demigod long enough for HER to fight the monsters.
Because she's the only one strong enough to do it in the first place, and in this regard Tuxedo Mask is the first example of being "Kenough" in this essay I will

Of course I sexualize and fetishize suffering and only do it to hot characters, if I wanted to see a mid guy suffering in an unsexy way that’s just called real life

I just saw a post talking about the circle and I have no idea what that is? Maybe it's only because I've played Veilguard but is it like mage school?
In the northern half of Thedas it's a mage school yes, in the southern half it's a prison and its full title is the Circle of Magi, the wiki page for it is here if you want to give it a gander and this is the one for tranquility while we're at it

In Crestwood, the Inquisitor discovers the awful truth of the town: during the Blight, Mayor Dedrick sent the refugees and the blight-sick to Old Crestwood in an effort to quarantine them, but the sickness spread, and the darkspawn came, so he opened the dam and flooded the town, drowning the sick and the refugees and the darkspawn all. A terrible thing. Maybe a necessary thing.
Crestwood is part of Inquisition's critical path, and like everything on that path it's there, thematically, to teach the player something about the antagonist (that they do not yet know is the antagonist): by creating the Veil, and by wanting to take down the Veil, Solas has done, and plans to do, a terrible thing. Maybe a necessary thing.
In D'Meta's Crossing, Rook discovers the awful truth of the town: Mayor Julius sold D'Meta's Crossing out to the evanuris for gold. He was corrupt, and he wanted power. It's a terrible thing, done for terrible reasons, by a terrible person.
D'Meta's Crossing is part of Veilguard's critical path, and the game explicitly tells the player that the reason they did this quest is to teach them about their antagonists: they do terrible things for terrible reasons, because they are terrible. Look for the terrible people, hero, and there you will find your quarry.
